and then I read:

yes, I do love Alanis Morissette through her words too (and sometimes I hear more downbeats, if you know what I mean)... but you do, if you are looking around and paying attention, see every part... and you're still here... and it amazes me...
I wish I could tell you what you want to hear... that the week that was was full of amazing wonder and exciting and fun so busy that there was absolutely no time to come upload a single entry... well, there was no time to actually feel like completing anything enough to call it an entry or to sit down and tap the keys for more than a few minutes (and it takes more than a few minutes just to connect to the net and upload an entry, especially when DLand is busy, which is holding up these uploads tonight... must be a lot of us with nothing much to do on a Saturday night, huh?... what if we connected with each other the same cities and actually got together and talked and played a game and then we'd have more to write about here... good idea?)...
well, I did find some activity in local groups I created years ago (that have been mostly silent and unvisited, even by me, in a long time)... would be really nice if the phone rang and somebody said they were in town... hear that, somebody?...
anyway, I did something this weekend, I mean, in real life and not just in this imaginary babbling I do to fill entries and somehow give some vague impression of being a real person with a real life... philosophy is a walk on slippery rocks, after all... so what did I do, actually?... I remember a movie, The Day After Tomorrow... it was cold... I still recall a fatal flaw in the story that seems to override the experience of the film for me, but I won't discuss it here because you may have not seen the film yet and if you don't notice, you might actually enjoy it more... and while I usually enjoy sci-fi and even post-apocalyptic stories more than historic epics, I think I'd rank Troy ahead (but will wait for them to be on TV before considering watching either again)... next week, The Prisoner of Azkaban (we already have the tickets)...
the week continues, or continued, and will go on in the next entry too... are we having fun yet?... ok, so are we continuing to get to know each other yet?... well, are we sharing our boredom and therein finding some comfort yet?...
hey, I'm trying to save some money here in my low budget life, so feel free to be creative in your imagination and generous in your enjoyment of your reading...
