the fantasy football drafts

for the interested, here are the results of the three fantasy football drafts we did this weekend... each league is a little different and I'll use fantasy football abbreviations to outline the league settings since if you are interested, you might want the details... I am linking the league home page, though I do not know if you can open it... are we ready for some football?...

Draft #1 - this league plays the following positions each week (and the rest of the players on on the bench): QB,QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,DEF...

Draft #2 - in this league we play: QB,QB,QB,RB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,D,D,DL,DL,DB,DB... here we have to play three QBs and three RBs... that and the addition of individual defensive players adds more challenge and fun to the draft and decision we must make each week...

and finally, Draft #3 - here we play: QB,QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,DEF,D,D,DL,DL,DB,DB... the difference in this league is we play head to head each week and generate win-lost-tie records instead of just comparing points to determine standings...

so there are the results of the three drafts... my three teams have several players in common so it is easy to root for those players to have great weeks every week... so specifically, let's hope Micheal Vick, Jamal Lewis, Alge Crumpler, Rudi Johnson, Ray Lewis, Mike Vrabel, Brian Urlacher have career best seasons without any injuries... and hopefully players I have on two teams won't hurt me too much in the league where I do not have them, so let's wish Dante Culpepper, Tori Holt, Chad Jonhson, Quenton Griffin, L. Coles, Mike Vanderjagt, Tiki Barber, Derrick Mason, A. Toomer, and a few others a great season too...

and that's mostly what I did with my Saturday, though we did get to the library and to the store to buy presents and a cake and ice cream for Rasputin's birthday and we gave him the stuff and sang Happy Birthday and watched college football...

so, how was your Saturday?...

you know that box to the right on the dland entry page called recent public entries?... what do the asterisks mean?... and the bold?...
