oh, the 42 of it all

i have not forgotten you, i have only been hyper-busy since i last postulated myself here (and though the time-date stamp does not show it, it has been about six days, though if i pour five more entries into this place tonight, we'll be all caught up like we used to be and time will be relatively confused like it used to be and all will be right behind the candoor...

well ok then... i may not have explained that the previous entry was a paradoxical conversation (with many layers of parody and oxicals) between two individualists who enjoy the shock value of proposing outlandish possibilities that are figments of the imagination cuz every figment has a grain of truth and realness that could grow (or could already be growing) in some mind or physical actions in some life on this or some other planet and when bitten on the ass, i find it always feels better when i've already laughed at the possibility before it happens... but then, that's just me... and the innocent victim i use to create such a post-conversational entry may or may not feel the same (or even know about it), so blame me, if you are into that sort of thing... or you could just ponder Yousuf's words:

"I've also seen that great men are often lonely. This is understandable, because they have built such high standards for themselves that they often feel alone. But that same loneliness is part of their ability to create." ~ Yousuf Karsh

of course being lonely doesn't necessarily make one great, cuz if it did, wow, would i be great (and was mohammed ali the loneliest?)... i though one was the loneliest, but be that as it may or may not be, here is something else to ponder in the wee hours of the morning, if you are into such things:

reading john's blog inspired this:

we should all be arrested
based on our moral laws
the holiest religious man
preach a word that never was
cuz we do not actualize it
we pretend to be good
human beings are parasites
and i wish that i could
say "no, not me"
but i too am swallowed by apathy

living on the edge is the song that plays
shame is hardly felt these days
as connected as the world can be
with mass media and satellite tv
this story hardly made the news
nobody wants to walk in those shoes
i wish i could say, no, not me
but the truth is the truth
even if i don't want to see
we live the crime of apathy

the charge is: apathy

... and i know it's wrong...

... maybe someday i'll find the words to wake myself and everybody else up...

... maybe someday i'll even finish this song...

..

but i wasn't done, naturally, for then, reading janie's blog inspired it to grow a little to this:
ah, if only there was more time and bandwidth (and connection speed) i would visit more often these days, but traveling light (on a slow aircard) keeps me distant on the web... i used to have a 718 number, 102st st, 42nd st, caton, and a 212 number on e4th (positively, 4th) for a while too... memories...

thank you for shouting out for the cause...
thank you for providing visual manna in the wilderness of careless glitter...
thank you for slapping apathy in the face...

hope lives.

.
. .

and a friend just inspired me to think all that and those words popped out... maybe somebody will take them and run with them, build on them, turn them into something more meaningful and powerful and ... words can be a force for change in the right hands...

my hands are busy juggling daily life these days (alas, and all that)... maybe i've learned to enjoy the irony of self-mockery too much :}

for what it's worth...

re-history

damned ADHD

and well i wonder... yes i wonder... is laughing at myself for this so wrong? when deep inside i still can sing this song

remember when the music?...

in conclusion, just to demonstrate the 42 of it all, i respectfully request the honor of going down under to be the first to lick her little cupcakes...

good night world, it was fun to know ya :}

we interrupt these seemingly mindless dots for a word from (or at least about our sponsor (hmmm, sponsor?... what's the opposite of sponsor?)... anyway, now, as ado-less as possible, the word for you or andrew)...

you know that box to the right on the dland entry page called recent public entries?... what do the asterisks mean?... and the bold?...
