yeah, or better yet, woah!... in fact, woah! woah! woah!

Say Anything was fantastic... better than fantastic, Say Anything was powerful... I imagine that many might be offended by some of their lyrics as they do not pull punches or worry about being politically correct (they have that in common with Rise Against, though they are a bit closer to pop and less screamy)... but if you appreciate strong lyrics with a message, if you get the chance to see them, see them...

the other groups did their part and each had a contingent who tried to rush the stage and stir the crowd at the House of Blues (and as usual for Orlando, the majority of the crowd was rather wooden most of the night... I don't get why people would pay extra money or get to a show real early to get to the front of the stage and then just stand and stare as if they are sitting home watching TV... what a conditioned culture we are as a whole... but I still believe that concerts are active participatory events where dancing, jumping, head banging, not to mention applause, singing, and screaming is encouraged and kind of expected... yet crowds seem stiff, maybe self-conscious, and definitely lacking in energy at most concerts I've been to in Orlando... but then, I compare these crowds with crowds from different times in different places, including New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, so maybe it's not fair to compare, but I do miss the energy... not to mention the partnership, but that's another lament for another time because there's just no room for any further lamenting tonight)...

dang, the force is strong in that lamenting gene, not to mention the sharing and perfectionist genes, but the strongest gene of all is the fun gene and fun was definitely had tonight... fun fun fun and you can have the T-Bird...

I decided to stay up at the front of the crowd and let the music in to wake me, shake me, and maybe try to break me (I survived yet another manic bouncing moshing night and only got kicked once by a passing crowd surfer who caught me by surprise)... and I got a workout better even than my gym workouts because it was actually four reps of thirty minute sets (longer for the last one) and I was bouncing (which becomes the equivolent of running in place) most of the time...

I really ought to do this every night J

ah, the child inside goes all wide-eyed and asks, can we?... so full of hope and wonder and play is that child inside... and what can I expect as I sit listening to I can do anything that I want, like you and stay awake, stay awake, survive as I sit here writing another rambling entry... poor btc, it is so neglected... and all my other web writing places...

but then, it's not like I have dozens of commenters (like Smed or Hiss or the Danger man who deserve all the attention they each get, especially Smed who writes interesting blog entries every day, but more to my point at the moment) eagerly awaiting my next word... and in a way I am glad I don't because I'd feel sad that I don't have time to give them what they want... unless what they want is a daily synopsis of life as I live it in RealTime with the odd babble tossed in... but then ego has long since gotten used to living without the spotlight, stage, applause, and adoration of millions of devoted fans (but ego can still dream and always has hope because ego, like the child inside, does not have to deal with practical reality much and remains, like most kids, somehow immune to the responsibility gene)...

eeeeeeeeek!...

the rest of this entry that was originally written at the RealTime blog was eaten by Microsoft... it was good (and I don't mean it was tasty for Microsoft)... I was on a roll (not the edible kind)... perhaps the whole eaten metaphor is wrong here... seriously, I felt great... and now I do not... and I will not do it again... consider this self-punishment for forgetting yet again that I should NEVER trust a Microsoft product, especially not Internet Explorer... and Google is no better because it says it saves entries at Blogger, but it does not do that well at all (probably because it depends on the browser) as most of this entry was not saved and ten minutes passed before the crash freeze Microsoft failure happened...

fuck Microsoft and all it's products....

PS... and while I am on the subject of unsatisfactory software and programming, Blogger and Google still suck for not remembering my login information even after I check "Remember Me"... and being forced to enter a full email address instead of a short login of my choice sucks even more when they force me to log in every time I leave the site (and too often the Microsoft product crashes, forcing me to leave the site, but we all know Microsoft sucks... I was hoping Google would not suck as much but there seems to be a direct correlation between a company's growth and it's suckage)... in my first few posts at Blogspot I found obstacles that had me pondering moving elsewhere and I now wonder why I didn't... maybe it is time to give Mindsay a chance...

I'll just fill in with the current concert and show schedule then:
