hello, I'm ric, and this is my diary... I don't always have something to say, and sometimes when I do, I don't always get it out in just the right words... and sometimes I don't have much or anything to say, really, but the words don't seem to mind cuz they just keep coming out anyway... even if that's silly or a waste of time, it's fun and I hope you're having fun too...

and since I am going to be working day shift and might have actual work to do that takes most of the time I am at work (as opposed to now when I can do the required work in an hour or two and the rest of the time is mine to do extra work or to babble on as I am doing now), I am taking advantage of my last two weeks of night shift babble time (aren't you lucky) so I might even write some nonsense that is meaningless instead of my usual nonsense which is secretly profound...

it's just so much fun to pretend to be some philosopher genius (like it's fun to be a promoter, ya know?) and state the obvious as if it's some profound obscure hieroglyphic pantheon of universal knowledge or a gift from the gods, even... but wait, I don't do that, I'm always serious and meaningful and sincere, you know that... so don't forget, buy Meg and Dia music and merchandise and remember that to CLICK HERE and vote for the girl wonders so they can go to University...

and I am proud to be a Meg and Dia fan... I know, I didn't get this way last month when Spill Canvas were the best thing since chocolate fudge topping in a jar, but then, Spill Canvas had me listening to them in the car as the only car CD for a few months, so they got plenty of playing time... and I saw them in concert and they were wow, fantastic... but whether it makes me chauvinist or just plain heterosexual, it takes a cute girl to get me gushing about in silly rhymes... I think that's cuz the romantic in me fantasizes best when there's some lust rising up from deep within the biochemistry of this body, but I don't overanalyze the process too much cuz that might upset the precarious balance that inspires me to get all silly and creative and even if they're a mockery of poetry and bad it's just too much fun (for me at least, and I just know some of you feel the same way, right?) to question or interfere with...
