aka: so what did happen yesterday, anyway?...

well let's see (let's being such a relative term as I sit here by myself, maybe a hopeful term as I imagine you out there caring, interested, wanting to know)... I have not checked mail in a couple of days, if that matters... I do hope it matters to some of you, but then, you may know my bipolar feelings about email... and then again, when it's just junk mail, it's disappointing... so what have I been doing?...

some writing, some reading, yes, loving words (especially love this at the moment)... and getting more regular sleep because I am working out... even though I went shopping before work yesterday, I also squeezed in a workout... it was cut a bit short due to the early closing of the gym (which has still not been explained by the management of this place, which makes them typical... yeah)... anyway, the sixth workout in seven nights was another increase... thirty minutes on the whatchamacallit machine at a bit more than level fifteen (started at sixteen, finished at sixteen... tried twenty at the end and, errr, wow) that supposedly burned 527 calories and traveled 2.81 miles and noticing the distance I guess the next goal (the first was reaching 500 calories burned in 30 minutes) will be three miles.. this might be a challenge as another goal is level twenty which will raise calories burned but might lower distance traveled... anyway, it's good news that I have gotten off my butt this week and we (there's that ignoble we again) can hope this new pattern continues so that next December maybe I will actually get to that marathon I was sorta going to run this December (now who remembers that?... yes, of course I wrote about it... somewhere... ah, the solitary life has swallowed me bit by bit and I may be so far gone I will never again be found... anybody love a challenge?... impossible dream?... please?... stop giggling, this could be serious... he says with a Charlie Brown smile and a Goofy guffaw)... who knows, next year I may even start a diary that isn't largely pathetic...

I must be amusing someone...
