meanwhile, back on the farm... what did you do, look away a minute and miss the last four entries?... or more?... well there's time slipping slipping slipping into the future for ya... you could stay awake just to watch me dreaming... or sleep writing, for that matter, which is almost the same thing... you don't want to miss a thing, after all... whomever said time goes by so slowly did not keep an online diary... but still, the heart has a clock all it's own...

so what else is new?... hmmmm... we seem to have computer issues here in the big green chair... I'd grumble, but I'm not taking myself all that seriously at the moment... once again the laptop is playing games with me... it's shutting down at random moments just shutting down and rebooting on it's own... either the hard drive is failing or there's a bug playing tricks on the system or maybe something is loose...

maybe I'll grumble anyway... but not here... that's what this is for... still, except for the last few hours of computer hiccups, it's been a wonderful vacation... yes, I worked two nights out of the past eleven or so... no grand changes like refocusing on living better, healthier, and working out... but still a wonderful vacation... almost as good as Bob's... what about Bob?...

oh, excuse me... the TV is on and I glance up and I hear a girl introducing Ron Jeremy and I have heard the name but never knew what he looked like and there he is... he's a sex symbol? (he's a porn star)... and he's sitting behind a desk like David Letterman interviewing people... as if I don't get enough penis enlargement SPAM in email, now it's on TV... what a world... my poor Sci-Fi channel has gone cheap porn SPAM...

personally, I don't want to be any bigger...

but I didn't come here today to discuss that certain part of the male body that every man wants to be bigger (could they come up with better writers?)... I came here to discuss this guy (at least for starters)... he's clever, he's new and it's his Birthday! (well, this week sometime... Tuesday?... Thursday?... Someday?)... so go wish daljo a Happy Birthday (and tell him to turn his notes on, I mean, who does he think he is, the one and only mcearstix?{super porn?} or some other veteran of the world traveller life or stalkers like me.. yeah, da noive)...

I found him over at our favorite internet cute thing, who gets mentioned again just cuz I love her honesty (and name) and sense of humor (and intelligence) and beauty (lucky her, she's my current crush, again... luckily she knows it's just a phase and nothing to get all up in my face about... I'm a stalker with ADD)... and note to all my previous and future crushes, please be patient and wait your turn, after all, you don't want to share me when I'm fawning over you as if you're the one and only most beautiful wonderful muse in the whole universe, right?... anyway, it's daljo's birthday, so stop trying to hog the spotlight and get all my attention... sheesh, the things I do for popular appeal...

hey, I am serious about the Happy Birthday... and about the sense of humor, especially the sense of humor... I wouldn't take my ego all that seriously though, unless you want to be the only one who does... or you want to get in my pants...

all thoughts about the Darwinian implications of Dragonfly penises aside (not to mention sperm shovels), I am so pleased with hissandtell's marvelous ability to follow my ramblings (it may be a case of it takes one to know one, whatever one is) and even more, the pleasure I find in reading her ramblings...

and then, just when I exhausted all accounts for why Florida felt like it shifted on it's axis this week, I found out arc-angel666 was romping around state... and as I am leaving him a note, berating him for leaving me out of his merriment (or at least not inviting me to the funeral for his latest laptop), I find a banner leading me to evababy777 who, besides amusing me with a strange sort of numeric coincidence in diary nomenclature, had the wherewithall to imbed a video (Gwen Stefani, no doubt) in an entry this week that made my whittle whaptop whince while I wished I could tap into internet music more... that thought then lead me back to my favorite arc-angel who reminded me of the dangers of downloading music or any files from the public web (and of course made it all better with an embarrassingly wonderful note)... and I can always get distracted (or seduced) by my own memories while reading nicim... ah, twue wuv...

yeah, so anyway, I stay in the dark ages with my almost eight year old laptop, for all it can't do might save me some grief (maybe writing this is why this eight year old laptop is suddenly getting some serious hiccups?... do my words have such power?... is there another force at work here?... queue the eerie sounds and haunting music?... giggle?)... the important thing is I can read my favorite online writers and continue exploring and rambling myself... just imagine how addicted I might get to all this if I had instant messaging and a computer that could really access all the amazing wonders of the wide open online world...

no, don't imagine, it's obscene...

yeah, especially the fantasies about music (sweet music, alas) and other people's collections...

so did I mention that Finding Neverland, especially the Peter Pan lines, once again brought tears to my eyes tonight?...

is it depressing or amusing that Betty Jo from Petticoat Junction is now advertising over 50 insurance policies on late night TV... I suppose it depends on your generation (talking 'bout my generation... oh, speaking of which, or Who, it was sad to see Roger Daltry earlier... didn't he used to sing?)...

but I said I wouldn't grumble here, so I won't...

I need a partner who wants to watch a Monty Python Marx Brothers Leslie Nielson film marathon... Who's On First?... got a free weekend and an instatiable irreverent brain?... we can even lower ourselves to The Three Stooges or get intellectual with The Animaniacs... and that's just the first weekend...

and then, at 5:47am, I think, after Naked Gun 2 1/2 is over I'll pass on Being There and put on the Fiddler on the Roof video I got from the library and sing along... is there any wonder why I get strange looks from my neighbors?... yes, well, they play heavy bass pounding video games at all hours of the day and night, so we're even... like I always said, if you don't live in a detached home and still want to sing old Broadway show tunes in the wee hours of the morning, make sure you live in an apartment community full of college students...
