well, as sad as it may sound, i'm going to give my mom your number anyway, because you guys have a lot in common and you seem like someone who knows how to treat someone right, and she hasn't had much of that in a long time. To answer your question regarding the demographics of the Denver Metropolitan Area, the population according to the last census is approximately 80.60% Caucasian, 18.50% Hispanic, and 4.60% African American. Therefore, if the Denver classroom you viewed on television contained 30 children that were being read aloud to by NBA players had more than 1 African American child within it, then yes, the classroom was staged to represent a more ethnically diverse community. For example, the last high school that I taught at in Denver, out of my 212 students, I had 2 African American students, 52 Hispanic students, 12 Asian students, and 146 Caucasian students. However, Denver is a fantastic place to live. The exquisite natural beauty, the openness, the spectacular weather, the plethora of wildlife, the abundance of art and commerce, the plentiful and staggering intellectual community, the hospitality of its citizens, the amazing Denver Public Library system, and the close proximity to some of the best ski slopes in the nation, all contribute to Denver�s amazing appeal as a destination for permanent residence. I live outside of the boundaries of the Denver-Metro area, but I adore the area and travel there frequently to attend school and numerous cultural events.
