Hello Mr. Candoor LOL: THanks for being a good sport. I assumed by your words being as open as they were You had to be female, most guys don't open up at all. And being that you were the first male to respond to my post about Alayna Kate threw me. Most of my men friends that knew her felt terrible about her passing and grieve deeply, she touched everyone's heart. Those that didn't know her and read my post have accknowledge it but don't comment. It took me a long time to be able to speak of her, men have trouble dealing with the loss of a loved one...and many here have told me they didn't know what to say or do, it hit them in their hearts and it frighten them. Thats okay with me I just wanted to share a bit of me and alot of her on 9-19. It felt good and I'm sure it made her smile..once again thanks for your kind words.

While I'm flattered to know you're "salivating" over my "Books to Read Which I Don't Currently Own" list, I'm sorry to report that I don't own a scanner. So getting the titles online would be rather difficult...unless you'd be willing to accept them via e-mail. If so, let me know and I'll start typing up the list asap. I just hope you're not to disappointed when you see some of the titles...as I tend to read crap as well as fine examples of writing. (I was once told by a writing instructor, it's just as important to expose oneself to "bad" writing, as it is to study the "good". -catherine

Thanks for your kind words. I believe I did know love in its purest form, I loved her unconditionally and her love for me transformed me into a better man. It was the kind of love I had never known, I had been and seen alot of this world by the time I met her. I had seen, and been a part of things that harden a man. War and the harsh realities of the ways of the world turned me into a stone fortress and within that fortress in its deepest part surrounded by a moat of acid lay my heart encased in steel. No one could scale the walls of my fortress, swim the moat of acid let alone penetrate the steel that entombed my heart...Then I met her and she brought me into the folds of the love. Your smiles are always contagious! :) And please don't worry at all. Friendship is the most important thing to me as well. Friendship is absolutely the sunshine in my life. Corny as it sounds, it's true. People toss the world 'love' around all the time, but mean it. I love my friends. Near and far. The ones I cuddle at least once a week and the ones I know only by the souls that shine through their writing. Two and four-legged. All of 'em. Completely and unconditionally. So never worry about being out of touch for a bit, or the times when life just gets busy. It don't change a thing.
