from sereana :
Hi.
from beagle47 :
the 'door creaked "where are you? still writing?..." and the beagle barks: "wherever i go, there i am" and "yes, but nothing i like." woof! woof! don't misinterpret silence. listen to it. it has a sound all its own. all my best, 'door. peace. (and i really mean that).
from hissandtell :
Hey, beautiful. How blissful to wake up to your divine note and comment this morning (well, champagne and yellow roses might have been the only thing better - or you in the flesh bearing a candle-lighted chocolatey cakey to deliver the birthday song) - so thank you, smoochiepiepie. Yes, I fear I'm overdue for an entry and will try to rectify that in the next few days. A broken laptop screen and a couple of naughty girlfriends corrupting my writing time with multiple pitchers of margaritas and turning Salon Hiss into a veritable Alonquin Round Table of delights (ah, all I need is room enough to lay a hat and a few friends...) has turned life upside down for the past week. And now it's time for breakfast - and I need something light and easy to fix (how about a dear little whiskey sour, as Ms Parker might say?) Love you gasquillions, baby. R xxx
from the-moo :
you are wonderful you are truly truly wonderful and I feel so very honoured to have even had you read my diary let alone enjoy it AND say such beautiful things about it *bursts* just wow! thank you. I have added you and I shall follow you in a disciple-like fashion... if you'll have me! *hugs* xxx
from the-moo :
hello... you left a note on my old diary *waves* I'm over here now feel free to come poke around!! xxx
from goldn-eggsit :
you got it. here's where i write: www.myspace.com/ninremixsmine -j.
from moretoknow :
Photography is beauty in real life and I just happened to aim my camera at the right angle at the right moment. My shutter just clicked at the exact time that beauty was perspiring. I am not an artist, I am a user of time.
from fridayfilms :
Hey, thanks. My weekend got off to a strange and bad start but I'm looking to right that, starting now. Hi.
from smedindy :
Bzzzrrfff, I believe...
from nicim :
orgasmic cherry colored tongue tickling tantalizing tenderly touching...oh did I just say that out loud? Cherry lifesavers..mmmm...my favorite. and the Wilder the better. Mwaaa!
from smurfangel72 :
(Just remember there's a lot of bad and beware :)) good song... Thanks for the note, it makes my head sing that way too!
from floodtide :
Not any more!
from moonbaby8u :
oh...I visit you often...just wanted to let you know!!
from im2evil4u :
In fact, that is the Coney Island Cyclone. Is there another? I work nearby and often go there on photo adventures (and for drinks afterwards at the bar next to the freak show). Love it.
from catz-eyes :
a poetic entry indeed :) its warming to hear that you are feeling more connected; and that you continue to hope. hope doesnt make you crazy - its the absence of hope that drives people loony.... that and the Shopping Channel. instead of standing on the brink wondering, you ought to let yourself go and fall :) also - noticed a PO box address on your page - is this your postal address? hope you're well, and that Life is being kind to you =^..^=
from zencelt :
Well hello there! That was some fantasy you just took me through bright and early this morning. I would say that bug "removal" is more accurate, in whatever form it takes. But if Zen "removal" is what it takes, I'm all for it ;)
from sinnergi :
thanks so much. :)
from hissandtell :
I don't like it when you're a-babblesome, darling. And anyway, just because nothing is there (or something isn't there) doesn't mean you can't see it. And if it falls, it doesn't mean you can't hear it, either. And just because it popped into my head this very moment, "Three o'clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do," as Sartre might have said. Or, in fact, did say. So you be careful, sweetheart. (Oh, and according to my rigorous research, hell really *is* other people...) Love, R xxx
from sparkspark :
Hi, there--thanks for the note! I'm glad to hear from you, and look forward to reading through your archives. -- Vio
from scissorhand :
Yay for Tim Burton. I'm always happy to find somebody else with excellent taste! Anyway, thanks for stoking the raging inferno that is my ego, haha. Love your journal, great deviations!
from candoor :
lol... LAM... did I mention I was sleepy?... yes, responding to notes in my own notes, very sleepy :)
from candoor :
nonsense (spoken in a complimentary British way), anyone who loves Jay as you do is well worth my time, even if you think you're not sometimes... heck, I look at half my entries, most, sometimes, and wonder why did I ever think posting that babble in public was a good idea?... self-esteem and confidence in writing are fickle creatures, they need lots of petting and cuddling and reassurance... and it is all so much a matter of perspective... care about the person writing, and suddenly any words shared are more meaningful and worthwhile... read a stranger (or ourselves) and we're suddenly more critical... write as you are, feel good for sharing, accept the smiles your readers share, and remember that looking for more is like drinking sugary-caffeine drinks to quench thirst, it just makes you more thirsty... and just think, I just woke up and feel all this philosophical... I'm gonna shower now and see if I can wash some giggles into my head :)
from loner-blues :
My new diary is called "wistful-blue," but I warn you: the first entry is *extremely* lackluster. (My apologies for this). I will not be at all insulted if you choose to take your readership elsewhere. -cat
from alwaysinhim :
a note, a note, a note, I left one, a note to note my presence or something like that.
from catz-eyes :
hey :) just checking to see if you got the emails ok? and am sorry to hear you're struggling beneath the burden of loneliness. seems crazy to me - you're too good (and interesting) a person; some lovely lass ought to snap you up asap! :) cheers =^..^=
from hamiltonian :
DON'T JUDGE YOURSELF
from lonelylatina :
you're welcome for the smile and thank you for the note. take care. with love from me to you.
from nicim :
of all the things to comment on - i'm going to pick the water. yes, the water. how plebian. I hate water. until I found Fiji water. And it's in a cute bottle too. XXOO
from smedindy :
Hey! A long time ago you commented on my first entry. (You were iconoclastic and started at the beginning!) Don't know if you've been back to my site. But I felt guilty that I didn't reciprocate and therefore, here I am. I, for one, would never edit anyone's comments. I think it's poor form, because you are not allowing the reader the freedom of expression that you, yourself have. Anyways, hang in there!
from nicim :
AACK! I don't know whether to be sad, or just sadly amused at the insanity of these people. Like you, I find it personally sad that society has decided it's ok to reward self-abuse. To make it not only ok, but beautifully ok. *sigh* But everyone to their own opinion. "Flaming" posts have always scared me - and it took a long time to get the courage to actually even post a comment, or leave a note. You are courageous to return to her site, to attempt to explain yourself, and to subject yourself to even more unwarranted abuse. Don't worry Ric Dear - WE LOVE YOU!! XXOO N
from fayble :
Just wanted to let you know that I peaked at your journal in return. Not bad! *smiles* Added you to my friends list. Hope life is treating you well now and in the future! *hugs* -fayble
from missy-17 :
hey thanx for welcoming me in such a polite way!!! =) anyway how has everythin been?
from loner-blues :
Well...as far as figuring out which picture is yours, one only needs to have read your 202 List. You're easily identified by your "third eye." :-) -cat
from nicim :
sorry - "reason to love" - it was just what i wanted to read, when i needed to hear it. michelle suggested i have to remember i'm not the writer in this new script I find myself in - and, like the audience am not allowed access to the ending at the beginning of the play. i can't even control the next scene, because there is someone else involved. what is will be. I have to take my place as an actor, play my part, and be audience to theirs. an involved illusion but I understood it.
from nicim :
extraordinary...go get some sleep. kisses
from nicim :
thank you for this one dearest...
from breakthedark :
Many thanks for the mention ;) You are brave folk, best of luck with the blog-athon! *offers triple shot cappachino*
from loner-blues :
"can I know where you've gone?" Sure, I'm going to do everything I can to have my site up and running early this week. I will let you know as soon as I've posted my first entry. :-) -cat
from hissandtell :
Okay, here's my very favourite joke ever (well, it's not - my very favourite is one about anal sex, actually, and my second favourite is one about horses and whiskey): Q. Why did the koala fall out of the tree? A. Because it was dead. Q. Why did the second koala fall out of the tree? A. Because it was stapled to the first koala. (Mmmmm...staples...) Oh, wait - should I have left this note at Jay's? R xxx
from nicim :
I have to go nighty night darling. Know that I send all my love and affection to you, and will catch up in the am. Until the morrow....XXOO
from bindyree :
I was here today. It is August 6, 2005. It was foggy today. We ate hamburger patties and steamed broccoli for dinner. And a user called my diary horribly mundane. That is all.
from nicim :
YOU'RE LATE!!!!
from nicim :
How do you call a Horse With No Name? Is a Nod really as Good As A Wink? Where is the Stairway to Heaven? and once you get there, are there Cheeseburgers in Paradise? and check your email for the question of the day!
from hissandtell :
Oh, darling. How long has it been since we waltzed? x
from catz-eyes :
:) just saw your comment about the CD/music and just had to tap out a quick note to say thank you - such a lovely thought! even if it is a dream - they're usually the best thoughts anyway, dont you think? it would be a wonderful CD indeed! and hissandtell is right - you do look like a non-drug f*cked robert downey jnr! ok - back to it! hope you're having fun! my god but fingers are getting sore! hehe =^..^=
from hissandtell :
Oh, now I'm swooning again. I used to see Jeremy Bentham every day, . He's at University College London, as you would you know, stuffed and in a box - a bit like Trigger at the Roy Rogers museum, only slightly less equine. Also, I think he has a wax head. (Jeremy, not Trigger.) And *that* reminds me of the Roald Dahl short story "The Landlady": "I stuff all my little pets..." x
from hissandtell :
Cotton panties? Why, you arse! (And even though I'm still half-asleep and decidedly unwitty yet, I'm adoring your double-entendres so far and absolutely can't wait to see what pops out next.) x
from hissandtell :
Right. I've just eight-and-a-half-hours of unbroken sleep for the first time, oh, ever - it's 7.30am and I'm catching up on your overnight ponderings over coffee. (Well, I have the coffee - goddess knows what you have in your hands right now.) And whose dangling breasts were they, mate? They're most certainly not mine! More soon. x
from clarity25 :
I like that you're doing blogathon, I've been enjoying your entries. I wish I had participated in it:)
from missy-17 :
hey, i liked your profile!!!hey i am new so look me up,k
from catz-eyes :
hey :) your comments are wonderful - thank you! but you're right - am struggling to keep up reading through them, but am doing my best to keep an eye on comments etc. can't believe how quickly the time is going (so far!) just too busy to notice time at all! it's fun, but hard work! and seriosuly - despite your very kind remarks, i'm the one who ought ot be proud - to be supported by such wonderful people! so - thank you (again). now, must go tap out next entry! =^..^=
from nicim :
ric dear - i didn't know you were doing blogathon - don't worry - i can keep up with two of you!!!!
from catz-eyes :
g'day :) thanks for the comment you left - hope you're having a lovely nap. am thinking of doing the same. am so excited about this! although after about 15 hours or so, am expecting to be so deranged and semi-dangerous ;) shall be dropping in on you to see how you're doing, ok? hope you have fun with it =^..^=
from hissandtell :
And don't even start me on Jackson Browne! x
from hissandtell :
Oh, you. You look exactly like Robert Downey Jnr - only, you know, less drugfucked. (Yes, yes - I'm making outrageous inferences here, I know.) And is that Jeremy Irons I spy? I can't look at him without thinking of 1/ him doing Noel Coward's "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" at the "Last Night of the Proms" a few years ago (so droll! so camp! so bright-young-thingy! so Noel!), and 2/ Lisa Simpson's brilliant anagram of his name... And oh, my possum, how I'm swooning at the insouciantly-placed Ginsberg reference. I do like nothing better than a good naked howl you know, sweetheart. And finally - well, for the moment, at least - you've swung dangerously precariously between teasing me with your uber-delayed gratification and being, ah, as you say, premature...we really must work on attaining some happy medium here, sugarbear. And finally finally - is it mere coincidence that velosoraptur (if not velociraptor - ooooh! What a liberty! What about us atheists? Why should we 'ave to listen to that sectarian turmoil?) and voluptuousrapture (a bliss-generative state of being such as may be derived from, say, an aging goddess) share many of the same graphemes? I think not! Love, R xxx
