Love is not to be found in the spirit of Liberalism, Conservatism or the Church at large, but within our own relationships. Love can be found in the most opressive or free societies. In any human situation, there will be those that seek power. Even the in the political arena, those that are always espousing love and caring are only doing so to increase the flow of tax dollars in there own direction. Any where you find a mass of human beings that need leadership, you will find corruption in the leaders whether it be church or state. Most churches in and of themselves are not corrupt. Most church goers dollars are spent in keeping up their own buildings to worship in and payment of the pastors salary to free him up to minister to them and to the charities that the people of the church aspire to support. On the small scale most priests and ministers are honest caring people. The loud mouths in the world will always make themselves seem like the masses when they are in fact a fraction of a percent of the people they claim to speak for. The greed of the powerful has never been nor ever will be stamped out. The masses of society need to take responsibility for our own happiness, try not to hurt anyone else and help where we can. We must find love and happiness among ourselves in the small things and not waste our energy fretting over or trying to stamp out something that cannot be stamped out. Love will always exist, power and corruption will always exist. Because you desire to find love and reject power on a personal level, love is what you will find. Keep looking...it's there...even in Orlando.

ok so I did the 'six' test.. and I first thought of a tomato.. then I thought, no thats not really a vegetable at all, but a fruit taht is often mistaken as a vegetable. Then I thought of a carrot. So, what do you think? am I part of the 2% that thinks differently? Or am I just an idiot for thinking a fruit is a vegetable?? :P

Thank you for your note. When I found Cheesus, I couldn't get up off the floor for a week, laughing. It still makes me crack up when I think about it. Also, funny you should write about the song "Michelle". I named my daughter after that song....One of the prettiest songs I have ever heard. You are interesting...I will tune in again.

"Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest." ~ Larry Lorenzoni ~ Happy much belated birthday! Your birthday is the date when divinity blossoms in your heart. May you celebrate another year of forward motion, honor the person that you are and will be, compliment yourself exhaustively, embrace the challenges of life, and prepare yourself to embark on new adventures, consume cake and ice cream (if you are so inclined), enjoy the mellifluous tones of the voices of your favorite artists, sparkle with enthusiasm, and partake of decadent pleasures. "Everything is created from moment to moment, always new. Like fireworks, this universe is a celebration and you are the spectator contemplating the eternal Fourth of July of your absolute splendor." ~ Francis Lucille ~ Happy belated birthday Candoor! ~~~ I greatly thank you for your delightfully thoughtful birthday wishes for my love.

Howdy. We did the exchange student thing too! 5 of them, 2 Germans, a Brazilian, a Serb, and a Bulgarian. Is Heidi your first exchange kid? They can be a lot of fun and a total pain in the ass. Heh. Show me ANY kid who isn't like this. Anyhow, thanks for coming by. Been trying to branch out but it's difficult. So many good diaries. So little attention span. ~LA

I really liked your latest entry. (I usually just think this in my mind and don't leave a note..but this time I felt the need to say it) I agreed with what you said and I loved how you ended it. That was beautiful.

Thanks for the note. Your hope is neither illogical or foolish, it shows strength of character and a willingness to believe. After all we are what we believe as opposed to believing who we are.
Re. Yahoo games - have you played the Pool? If you're up for a game let me know :)

I am here to linger among your notes to spread adoration like rose petals in a modest attempt to thank you for the delightful and yet surprising email that I received from you after my computers meltdown. Your resplendent generosity and extreme thoughtfulness have made my world a better place. May you always remember that the book of your life is rare and marvelous. And may you continue to write your life so that others may be illuminated. Your real vision is immeasurably valuable and I dare you to let it all out! Let us all bask and celebrate in what you have made real from your dreams and imagination. May you be the hero of your life and in so doing further the heroic story of the world.
May you hear your calling and courageously respond.
Lastly, may you know the glorious fulfillment of telling your story and having it received, and hearing deeply the stories of the ones you love.

The only music I ever made love to was AC/DC (on 8 track) Dirty Deeds and Back In Black when I was a naughty teen then Night Ranger in my early 20s, Paul Mc Cartney in later 20s and now, well having sex at all is a thrill so not much thought in playing music. heh. Although when I was young it was something about the rock that just worked for me.

thankyou thankyou darling. I have yet to be brave enough to put on the cd I made.. my boyfriend is picky about music.. so I dont want to distract him with what Ive picked.. thats just a little performance anxiety Im sure I will get over shortly.. diaryland has fucked itself.. Im sad, I cannot write here and must resort to livejournal, which Ive never really been fond of. They say that your first love is the sweetest, so my love for diaryland will rot my teeth from my head. Its silly really, to be so attached to a website.. but it amazes me how many wonderful people I have had the pleasure to spy on.. Im procrastinating, I should be either sleeping or cleaning up the mountain of clothes in my room.. my furnace is fixed, my dear. so the emperor is warm again.. woo~! Can you tell that I miss my entries and so am writing you an ungodly lengthy note? I will end it here though, and let you get on with your wanderings, and I will go to bed, and throw clothes around in the morning, hopefully some will land on hangers! byefornow..
