I thought about this and almost gagged... not that a whole new and huge journal community doesn't appeal to me, but it's just something about my aversion to Big Brother in any shape or form, especially a Big Brother that intrudes it's name and rules virtually everywhere as if you might forget where you are and who's in control of everything you do... I know it might be just the darker side of capitalism, but so many control freak neo-paranoids are drawn to an environment that labels and controls everything that I've always shied away from anywhere like it...

yes, I am talking about AOL...

of course many might hang out there because it was the first place they arrived on the internet and they made themselves at home and don't know much about the rest of the internet or how to navigate or exist outside of the AOL trap that I knew as AOL when I first explored it more than ten years ago... maybe things have changed there and they acknowledged that most of the web is outside of their domain and they would benefit from a Yahoo or Google or even an MSN approach over their restricted access proprietary navigation methods...

and yet they do have a large audience there...

so of course I did create an AOL journal (are we laughing?)... I doubt I'll use it at this point as I do not like it's format because it is way too simple and does not allow enough HTML modification... obviously the Big Brother influence and the assumption (by AOL) that all AOL users are ignorant and stupid still dominates the features and formatting on the site... this is obviously not the case as at least one AOL member is enlightened demonstrated in the creation of the AOL group candorism (created just three days after my birthday, after all)... of course one might say the AOL management could be right in their assessment of AOL users by the turn out to the group... and somehow, candor, candoor, and candora were all taken (as were candori and candorz), yet a search of AOL did not turn up anyone using any of those names, so that puzzling omission and disallowance turns me off to the site as well...

but it's there... an AOL blog... we shall see how long it's simpleton format and undesirable address keep me from actually posting there, at least now and then... could the one be hiding out at AOL?... oh sheesh, I sure hope not...

I absolutely adore the positivity found at this myspace (not to mention the mischievous smile that gets me grinning all over every time I see it)... I think she should adopt me and the seduce me because she inspires Peter and Pan, if you know the old story, but then, I don't always have the wisest ideas in spite of my being recently nominated Class Guru by my 2 out of my 3 blogspot groupies, so perhaps I am joking...

I often tease myself when I find someone visual stimulating, whether I see eyes I'd love to get lost in or a smile that melts me into a puddle of your wish is my command or to a bout of the giggles... and especially when an instinct in me tells me someone might understand my teasing, though if someone I want to kiss really wants to kiss me and then I'll get serious as serious can be in a heartbeat...
