yes, just more life... maybe there is something worth reading in my babbling other than just the getting-to-know-you stuff for anyone who wants to know me, at least in a literary sense, as I live life each day... I have been told I can be profound at times, but then some people might like me and be biased (and thank you, dear friends)... if anything in this diary is ever published beyond this public website, I doubt it will be for it's literary merit, but more because I might have found some small celebrity and celebrity secrets sell... as much as ego might dream of having the following of a Grisham or Creighton or King (or Elvis, the Beatles, or Jesus, for that matter... I mean, ego trips are limitless, after all), I am not writing here to attract an audience... I am writing, for an audience however, you...

you read this for your own reasons, but I'll hope and want to believe that you read because you care and find me in some way worth knowing, at least through words... maybe you're just here out of boredom (and you're not even more bored now?), but maybe you return for a more meaningful reason and if you do I say thank you and continue...

it is time to start getting ready for work... I had figured today would be a relaxing mostly-at-home day and an inexpensive weekend... it turned out to be an out-most-of-the-day day and a $200+ weekend... these last six or seven months, especially since Rasputin moved in last year, I've gotten in the habit of living beyond my means... partly because I am paying all of the bills around here (because they are in my name and I don't sit down and figure out how much Raspy owes) and also because I buy most of the household stuff for this place and also because Raspy lives well beyond my means, specifically in terms of eating out, and I join him too often)... so I splurged on a CD burner today and lunch (Macaroni Grill) and a movie (Troy) and last night dinner was not actually a treat because we changed plans and went somewhere more expensive (Cape May at the Disney Beach Club)...

most of this weekend has been occupied with Precious as she hasn't had anything to do and is so often wanting to share something... I could have said no, but this weekend I traded personal time for myself and writing time and music time and me time for listening to her life time and today I traded motivated Precious and Rasputin to go out for lunch and the movie because Precious really wanted to go... Raspy had to cancel his lunch date, but such are the sacrifices parents make, right?... it's good, but the creativity in me is screaming for time now (so I really do not want to go to work, but such are the sacrifices we make when we're dumb enough to give everything away a few times and have to start over, right?)... sarcasm, no doubt...

Precious is currently playing a game of name that tune with herself (and since I am sitting here and she's asking whenever she doesn't know a song, with me) by trying to list all the tracks (well over a hundred) on an mp3 CD she made a while back... no theme whatsoever to the CD, just songs I guess she liked and downloaded...

and maybe a half hour nap...
