2004-04-24 - 11:50 p.m. it's later moments after I sat down for the last entry Rasputin came out of his room and asked if I was watching the NFL draft... so he turned it on and sat down to watch and then Precious came out of her room to ask me if I was going to the show at her school tonight and suddenly, I'm busy... it's a good thing, except I looked at the clock... before I went hmmmmm, however, I shook off the cobwebs and zipped over to the gym leaving Precious instructions to come get me if I wasn't back by 6:15 (which would leave me enough time to shower before going to the show)... it worked... I had a decent workout (though skipped the weight machines cuz there just would not have been time) in 40 minutes on the LifeFitness9100 (setting a new personal record), didn't have to rush the shower and still made it on time for the show... they did Ragtime and did a very good job of it... high school shows are like college football games in that they are so much more emotional (cuz kids are allowed to without being called unprofessional I guess)... it was fun, definitely... even the moments of missing my own experiences and wishing I had more creativity in my personal life (of course, you know that broken record by now) were not bad... Raspy drove to Steak N Shake afterwards, so I had some red meat for the first time in weeks (last time was the day before the kidneys had a baby, I think, so that would be February)... an adorable waitress (even libido took notice) served us, her energy was bouncy too and (of course, I felt loneliness in spite of my bouncy energy and the rush of excitement that seeing a live show brings) it made the food taste better... especially the shakes she made... yeah, the chocolate vanilla split shake with hot fudge... yummy... the second one was even better... shhhhhh... and being that my roommies live a normal life even though one of them works nights, Raspy drove home and went straight to bed... so did Precious, probably cuz she has a cold, cuz she usually stays up later... I checked the TV (feeling lonely, I felt like some audio-video input) and found SNL had Christina Aguilera as the host and she is beautiful... seriously beautiful... and that is not libido talking... I so admire the way she handles the crap that the prudes of the world try to throw at her... if most people did not want to see titillating sexual movements and skimpy dressing on young girls, she would not be a millionairess and neither would Britney (or Hugh Hefner or many many others)... the double standards and hypocrisy of some (I hope it's not most, but I wonder) humans sucks and I love how she smiles, as if she knows exactly what she is doing, as she sings Beautiful... I also would love to meet Tina Fey, but that is another story... so now, it's later and here is the more I mentioned in the pervious entry title... it's just past midnight now and I am sitting here tapping keys while listening to (and glancing up at) SNL while singing along (Maroon 5 is the musical guest) "is there anyone out there..." while copying library CDs and enjoying the energy flowing through the cells... and now I'm gonna channel some of this energy into writing somewhere else cuz it's about time I gave the written gardens some time... and that's what happened to me tonight, for anyone interested... after a week full of rambling insanity (as some of my friends used to call it), it might be kind to give you an entry simply listing the things I did today... certainly a positive way of looking at the mundane, huh?... so now you have another slice of this life I experience, another after-Saturday evening shared with you... it's fun... it would be more fun if you were here...
