2005-07-03 - 4:55 a.m. Friday on a Sunday meming right along, we now present Friday Feasts, because it's Friday on some planet somewhere in the universe and it may or may not be Sunday here...
If a vacation is a week or more, I have not had a vacation in several years (as I mentioned recently)... and no plans, but I'd happily go just about anywhere if the right person and circumstance came about... Soup What color is your bedroom? If you could redecorate it, what would you change? white, it's an apartment... I'd change everything if the extra spending money was available, but then, I'm so rarely in there, there's little point... Salad Do you have a bumper sticker on your vehicle? What does it say? no bumper sticker... Main Course What's the worst pain you've ever been in? passing a kidney stone for a couple of days... Dessert Who is your favorite celebrity? What do they do that inspires you? Harry Chapin, the words, the music, the way he lived his life (it would be too easy to pick a libido fantasy)... Feast Fifty-Three Friday, June 24, 2005 Appetizer What time do you usually wake up each day? If you could choose your wake-up time, when would it be? wake up time varies because I work nights and some days I wake just before leaving for work (rush, rush, no fun) and some days I wake in the late afternoon or early evening (better overall because it is usually when I've had enough sleep... waking without an alarm clock is my preference)... Soup When was the last time you bought groceries? What store did you go to? Name 3 things you purchased. last time was a week aor two ago, at least... probably Walmart or Publix or SaveRite, unless we count a CodeRed at RaceTrac... specifics would be guessing, probably bread and frozen stuff and chocolate... Salad How many books have you read so far this year? Which was your favorite and why? several, though it's been a very slow year for reading... no favorite comes to mind... I suppose I should do these prompt things when I feel more creative, huh?... Main Course What is something you consider to be very elegant? In particular, what about that item/place/person conjures up the feeling of elegance? restaurants with very comfortable chairs and fresh flowers, spotless table cloths and dinnerware, expensive clothes on all the staff, candles, and extreme courtesy... or a flower garden... I suppose I associate the word elegance with fancy man-made stuff, but a walk through the woods reminds me that nature can be more elegant than any human creation... Dessert Who taught you how to drive? some driving school instructor in high school... Feast Fifty-Two Friday, June 17, 2005 Appetizer What's one word or phrase that you use a lot? anyway, alright, ok, meanwhile, in other words, you tell me... aye? Soup Name something you always seem to put off until the last minute. going to work Salad What was the last great bumper sticker you saw? nothing comes to mind... Main Course If you could be invisible for one day, how would you spend your time? of course masturbating in woman'd locker rooms does come to mind, but I'd hope to actually do something more creative and meaningful with the opportunity... like haunt some world leaders until they were declared incompetent and replaced... Dessert Describe your hair. long, curly, occasionally frizzy, almost black when wet, dark brown with increasing strands of gray when dry... anybody wanna come play with it?... Feast Fifty-One Friday, June 10, 2005 Appetizer Name one thing that made you sad this week. humanity Soup What was the last object (not person) you took a picture of? there was a time when I took a few hundred pictures a week with several SLR cameras and a variety of lenses and filters and other equiptment... but I last took a picture so long ago, I don't remember... Salad Who do you talk to when you need help in making a decision? myself... Main Course If you were a weather event, what would you be, and why? it would depend on my mood... I'd range from a clear sunny tropical day to a tsunami, though that might not be a weather event... a tornado?... Dessert Suggest a website that you think your readers would enjoy visiting. this week's favorite...
