oodles of thanks to all who sent happy birthday wishes to Precious (and thanks too to all who sent good thoughts)... she had a great time (was out all day today from 7am to 11pm) getting her tickets and then playing at Disney Quest (I haven't been there in years and it doesn't sound like it's changed too much, so it's still an awesome playground)...

and thanks for all the uncondition love and understanding (especially understanding that all the email good wishes and reassurances may not get a response anytime soon) in responses to my last few quasi-philosophical entries (Richard Bach's mind is cool and very quotable, yup... and comparing my writing to his (or his, for that matter), well, except for both of us upsetting people from time to time and respecting life all the time, he's the genius, I'm just rambling on... still {he says with a grin that suggests it's supposed to be an aside, but might really be as much to the point as anything}, your praise is much appreciated as my ego loves to believe it)...

and Born Free plays in a commercial on the TV and I remember the song and I feel it today, for I follow the winds... yes, I will follow where they lead (with a nod to Carly Simon)... and the winds of chance as well...

in other words, I've been sitting on the pause button again (as if you need to be told again, huh?), so if you've emailed or left me a voicemail, please know I love your caring and reaching out... it helps me keep a handle on the threads of faith I have left and keeps me hearing my favorite songs of hope when I am gasping for air and my hope-tank has only fumes to offer... and I read my favorites I love yes you and others where I find myself imagining that the words are real and true and proof that there is hope for humanity (that's the illusion I want to believe in as real)... and in the end, I can only hope to be understood and forgiven for my silent slumbers and passivity... maybe one day I shall initiate interactions again as I used to... maybe one day I shall take a leadersip role again too... but today, I watch the wheels go round and round (for examples, again)... and I do not always love to watch them roll (but I shall support your right to be free to be as you wish to be)...

as for me, in the daily life in black and white, I overslept and missed the first movie we (work friends) were supposed to see... they called to wake me so I made the second one... first, the guys were supposed to go see Sponge Bob and the girls were going to see Closer and then we all were going to see Ray, but it didn't quite happen that way... I wasn't the only guy who didn't make the first movie time, in fact, none of the guys showed up so nobody saw the square yellow porifera and his big blue friend, but they went to see Closer and they didn't like it... too sleazy for their tastes, they said... then I showed up to join the girls for the second movie and Ray was no longer playing, so we went to see Ocean's Twelve, which was pretty good, but I liked Ocean's Eleven better...

the girls were too tired for dinner, I shopped for some food and then spent a relaxing evening watching movies on TV, nodding off in the big green chair... hopefully tomorrow I won't find the mailbox full again (but I probably will and I hope you resend any mails that are returned due to a full mailbox)...
