and the excitement continues to build (part 14)

this entry is in progress... more will follow tonight and who knows when... I'll let you know when it's as done as it's gonna get... thanks for stopping by... I miss you here...

so I click on a banner (which used to be one of my primary addictions before substituting other clicking spots) and find one of the reasons I miss wandering around diaryland (besides the racy hysterical banners) and there she is (with a really cool umbrella and if I ever used an umbrella, which I don't, just in case Marlo Thomas is watching {I could use a new toaster though), I'd like a nice artsy umbrella like the one kung fu kitten got in the mail the other day)...

meanwhile, this entry began as a brief RealTime entry and just kind of messed all over itself to become one of the babbling entries you come here behind the candoor to endure enjoy... the title fits in both places, though here it is clarified as I am certain it's been used before and that's where the entry begins (blurry dream sequence flashback time if you've come from the RealTime blog... no worries, there's plenty more down under)...

if I have not used that title here before, I am bound to forget and use it again, probably, for it is one of my favorite quotes from my favorite singer-songwriter-humanitarian-person, Harry Chapin as it exemplifies the tongue in cheek serious irreverence that is me (and he didn't even know me when he said it the first time), but that's sort of besides the point... you'll just have to see him in concert (on DVD or video) or listen closely to his live recordings to understand just what I mean...

and bring bananas...

I thought I was asleep for the night an hour or so ago as I nodded off just after munching my greens and veggie burgers (not fair, I wanted to go Vegan again for love, just like the hair cutting deal... I mean, I want the one I next fall in love with who falls in love with me to be the one who saves me {we can play pretend all those songs with save me themes like Wake Me Up Inside and so on... come on, you know the ones I mean} by being my inspiration for changing my bad habits and also who grooms me {we can play dress-up} and here I am starting all over again all by myself {don't wanna be} as if I don't need her at all {but the illusion, Maria, but my heart}... oh pooo)...

a little while later, with the TV blaring and nobody in the room, I woke and stumbled from the big green chair into bed... but then, after sleeping just a bit more and waking for a sustained bladder release, thoughts stirred in my brain and I found myself back here in the living room at the computer and I didn't find myself at myspace for a change (as I have spent the few moments I've had in recent nights wandering around there), but instead I found myself lead by an old friend (or is that an old acquaintance never to be forgot?... or is that forgotten?... I forget) to a dusty old abandoned haunted house just off the freeway at exit 42z, which, by the way, can't be gotten to by the last train to Clarksville without a stop over at platform 9 if you follow the odd British kids into Rod's sterling habitat for humanity and other hapless species, but this again wanders behind the candoor (so here we are, aye?... yes, this is the moment I decided I was rambling on too much for the RealTime blog... creativity at it's crossroads and you were right there to see it... feel special?... wait, is that special special or church lady special?... think I'd tell?... meanwhile, back to the entry in progress) and Ive not been making time for such babblings this week (no wonder its spilling into RealTime and making those supposed-to-be brief blog entries long and winding and bringing over the edges of obscure)...

and can anybody tell me why MS Word 2000 constantly resets itself to default auto-text corrections and other such nonsense when MS IE crashes and burns every hour or less?... not that I really want to know, unless, of course, it can be prevented (without switching to an over-my-budget Mac, that is)...

anyway, then (we were sitting here at the computer not at myspace, remember?), while finding the dear soul of z0tl has finally made use of the blogspot (spew that venomous wrath oh evil triplet {or tripped out} cousin of the Olsen twins, erupt in cynical rapture oh candy store junkie turned empty candy wrapper, vent, rage, release the demons that haunt the depths of your spirit and call you to the dark side where blind dogs lead see-eye people on meaningless adventures through amnesiatic lives... news at 11) and just when we thought we were too busy to feel the profound depths and ride the roller coaster, the excitement continued to build while searching for lyrics to a song and I found behind the lyrics and started a new blog...

yes, you heard right, a new blog...

well, sort of... I haven't actually written in it yet, but I did scratch out a brief profile... so yes, excitement continues to build because as I was hunting for the lyrics to a profoundly depressing and realistically enlightening song that is so completely a big part of my autobiographic mix CD collection soon to come to a theatre near you, I found a new place where I simply must blog when I find the time... and while my lyrocks has been around forever and wrote the very first song, it hasn't quite drawn my attention because I have not had time and there's no interactive calling that creates just enough of an internal guilt trip to get me to give some time and attention there... but behind the lyrics (which I tentatively dub behind the lyrocks just cuz I am so abundantly clever) has all the makings of a first class addiction (as if I don't have enough already)... I'll let you know when I actually start blogging there, if I do...

or perhaps I'll build something...

the other day I wrote an assignment for Precious that was supposed to be some sort of biography of her... this came out... I include this rather randomly for those of you who don't read the RealTime blog but still are interested in learning more about my youngest roommate... she came home more tired than ever today and went straight to bed, though she said she turned in the assignment without changing what I wrote... lack of exercise = les energy... it's a deadly cycle... anyway, this paragraph was brought to you by the hope that you are interested in more than just the distraction and meaningless escape that my babbling ordinarily might provide...

meanwhile, I need to be at work in less than six and a half hours and leaving time to shower and eat I ought to consider sleeping the next five ours or so... Meg and Dia can serenade me to sleep... I think Dia is going to crack into the Libboland top ten any day now... possibly on both audio and visual lists... I wonder how she tastes...

thank you and you for noticing I was here so quickly... and all of you sitting there with nothing to say too... you are appreciated... I will try to be back for some catching up over the weekend... you've been warned...

J
