something that both the Harry Potter stories and the Star Trek stories have in common is a virtual worship of chocolate... naturally the affinity is profound for me...

National Treasure is on the tube... seen it?... in search of Charlotte... and the holy dollar bill... riddles in pipe (ah, when tobacco was still a drug that the human body was not so completely adapted to it... but what were they smoking besides tobacco, I wonder)... and Knights Templar again, reminders of The DaVinci Code... finally, a story to distract me from the Potter stories.. perhaps I won't mention it for the seventh entry in a row...

she's quite intelligent too...

actually, all adolescent fantasies aside, I relate to Harry the most... but I am not obsessed, not really... just absorbed by the world the author created and the fantasies of being part of that world... and now I am trying to buy into the invisible treasure map on the back of the declaration of independence just because there's a bit of logic in the idea that the dominant empires of humanity over the years might have had secret treasures and powers that kept them dominant over centuries (the secrets are the ideas, but don't tell anybody cuz they'd not believe you anyway) that are symbolized by certain epic archtypes or symbols like pyramids and eyes and gold and that which people value most, property and the currency of the times...

so far it's pretty boring...

could be the mood...

I got an eTrade credit card in the mail a while back... I haven't activated it yet, in fact, I haven't checked my account since I opened it way back when I opened it... I bought about a thousand dollars worth of penny stocks... maybe I'm a millionaire and don't know it...

just a moment, Precious has a fashion show going on and I am the only one to play audience here at the moment... dress one, evening-type down exposing lots of skin, shoulder, back, cleavage, way too formal, next... dress two, pretty blue summer party dress... dress three, three pieces (that actually didn't color match), bought by her mom and sent here cuz her mom didn't like it or was too small or something... Precious went swimming in it, that is, the top was way too big (even with the tank top under it...

meanwhile, out here on the internet...

east coast west coast, all around the world... well, if I knew of hot steamy stories around the world at this moment, I'd have linked a few beyond the boundaries of this imperious (and dubious) land of the free... feel free to pass along wonders of the world when you find some... anyway, I think these two would make sweet beautiful music together... passion and romance, phew...

and then there's me... the closet swinger vs. the passionate romantic always searching for the one while exploring the fantasies of free love in my mind to keep from getting bored or lost in uninspired loneliness... remembering when love was so much more than fantasy, once upon a time...

until then, I settle for dreams of love... and Thalean chocolate mousse made with beans aged 400 years... but what gives here, I mean, this is not Planet Candora or other fantasy places... am I becoming confused?... mixing my metadiaries?... what phor?...

just a moment, I must adjust my crotch fan...

and thank you, but no, I really don't think I'll go in for neutering... I use them too much to want to give them away... and ya never know, somebody else might want to use them one of these days... someone who really likes self-deprecating sarcasm and the intelligence (or insanity) to know the difference...

who knows (eyes?), anyway, around here (singing the song?), nothing much changes... except that I've got the weekend off... gonna be a bum, a lazy bum... Rasputin is working, as usual, but maybe we'll get to the computer show that we didn't get to last month when I really did need to go but chose to hang with a supposed friend instead... yes, I said supposed... I feel like a hot potato, but then, maybe that's a good thing...

and besides, I've got a real good crotch fan...

Precious is heading up north Friday to her best friend's birthday party... yup, a Sweet Sixteen, northern style... that's when the family rents a hall, hires caterers, and throws a birthday party that is bigger than most weddings with many traditions and toys and stuff... or, if poor, the party is more the tradition and toys (signed stuff animals, memory hats, waxed glasses, and so on)...

I had the latter...

yes, I know Sweet Sixteen parties are for girls, traditionally, but my high school friends decided to surprise me with one... it was just one of the many wonderful memories of high school when friends were friends and love was true and life was so much more real and positive and optimistic and almost perfect...

ah, deep down, we can't always get what we want, but those of us who keep trying might have taken the song more seriously than the rest of them... you know, the ones who don't need fans... I really should get that past out of storage and clean out the boxes in my head as well...

then maybe I'll be everybody's favorite J
