I could have called this part two, but I didn't this time because it's been done (the multi-part naming) too often of late and I bore easily (certainly you've noticed how boring and repetitive I can be if you actually follow me around the web... but that's the secret of success and fame, only the Britney Spears and other ridiculously addicted to the spotlight celebs put themselves out there enough to overstay their welcomes in the spotlight... the truly respected ones have the self-respect to give the public eye their best (and that takes a lot of work and assistance and planning and timing and effort and more) and standing carefully...

meanwhile, here is another comment I left somewhere, though this time I recall it was inspired by an entry Serenity posted in her blog a few weeks ago... there may be too much tongue-in-cheek or cockiness overriding the actual intent of the message, but maybe not... it's a matter of perspective and as in everything, what you find mostly depends on what you are looking for...

YAY for finding your own voice and for finding the confidence to open the door to love (or God, to use your word... any word will do once you open the door completely and let it flow both ways)...

and for you, a bit of my voice (like a book report, right?... should I have gotten all dressed up or am I mocking myself enough already, nyuk nyuk... ok, I'll clear my through and attempt seriousness)...

the journey to peace where love flows freely starts with comfort... some of us are more comfortable following, some are more comfortable walking with a partner, some are more comfortable venturing on their own... some don't have as much choice and simply open up anyway because they feel it's the right thing to do...

I believe in actions and outcomes... if I cause harm, I am wrong, simple as that... I might be wrong due to a mistake or I might be wrong by choice, but causing harm is wrong... intentions matter, a lot, but actions and outcomes matter too...

those who speak words of love might think they mean well, but if they act to cause harm, how can I believe in their love?... there is no justification for me (I'm too simple I guess)...

I think the majority of humanity has forgotten what really matters in life... who really wants to be unhappy?... who really wants to cause harm?... who really wants to be angry or upset?... I'd bet few and those few are quite confused...

yet there is war... there is hate... there is anger and violent, even harmful actions everywhere, even in our art and entertainment... we consume poisons to escape from reality, to help us take down our walls and more comfortably share with each other... how did the reality of interacting with each other get to be such a harsh and scary experience that we need to drug ourselves to deal with it and smile about it?...

fear...

fear layered upon fear...

fear so thick it blinds us, it distorts our senses, it turns a friendly gesture into a suspicious act and turns the best of intentions (and isn't every religion intended to take it's people to a better, more peaceful, more happy, more loving place?) into acts of violence and hatred and war... that's some thick fear...

I wish I know a way through it for everyone... I only know my way that works for me... I accept that I might die at any moment and if I die, I die...

simple as that...

and while I accept that I am afraid to die, I choose to make sharing myself, my love, and the good I can do over the fear in each moment... and it is a choice to be made in each moment...

once past that point, accepting the inevitability of death and making the acts and outcomes of living more important, it becomes a simple decision... what can I do to improve the moment, to inspire a smile, to help myself and anyone around me feel more comfortable and therein closer to the love (or whatever word we choose) and good feeling energy all around...

and that's what I do... every moment... and if I find something I can do to make the outcome better, I do it... being always ready willing and able to learn and change helps a lot...

so this is my personal voice, my way, and my contribution to your chorus... it felt good to me and if it feels good to you and anyone else, all the better...

and if anybody feeling not good tells me why, that would be helping me do what I want to do even better...

so I listen (and read) and hope to learn and change always aiming for a better feeling, a more positive expression, an understanding even more might share cuz the more of us who can share the comfort of an understanding, well, the circle comes back to the beginning and starts all over again...

yeah, I ramble on in comments sometimes...

and to my friends (and you know who you are) who are immediately turned of by the whole God concept (come on now George, I listen to your ramblings), preaching anti-God is as meaningless as preaching God, if you can find the connection... personally, I'm open to any theory of evolution or creation, any explanation of how life happened and why we exist is worth a few moments of my time and attention, but nothing is worth shutting my mind or changing who I am and who I am is someone open to any theory... many pretend to be, especially when enlightenment is the cool way to be, when intelligence and sensitivity rises enough in the collective consciousness of the culture to give some perspective beyond the fear that dominates the human mind today and has for so many centuries...

if a single word or phrase turns you off enough to write off a person or a thought stream, then you are dominated by your fear (and fear comes in many colors and flavors from blind faith to arrogance, from anger to apathy, from prejudice to lack of commitment, from ass-kissing to overbearing pride (and so many more varieties and ways to rationalize and/or describe it)...
