blink

yes, you blinked and missed another, and perhaps another, a two-parter, and one before that and we are still behind the times according to the date above, but then, time is relative, especially here just look:

Five Entries Ago

Four Entries Ago

Three Entries Ago

Two Entries Ago

One Entry Ago

Thousands of Entries Ago

Blogmad, Chat, Surf, Get More Visitors to you Site

oh, how did that last one get in there? snark, aye? anyway, this entry probably won't last long, so you might miss it too, but then, don't stop blinking cuz that's not good for your eyes and you need your eyes, after all, cuz you can't surf and browse and read without them (my logic is amazing sometimes, huh?) and I did not forget that there's still more to come in the previous entry (and in many other entries past due in the archives) so keep blinking, and remember to check back cuz you wouldn't want to miss a thing, right?

and now, today's entry, whatever day it may be

the bottom line is not always the lowest common denominator, nor is it always divisible by one now (or later) mathematicians will tell you that what I just said is illogical, perhaps even theoretically impossible, but I challenge mathematicians to reduce the rotation of the Earth by 40% at minimum (with scientists debating about the safety of reducing it further as we might all suffer from the changing climactic conditions that could ensue, if we didn't all become toast first), before they challenge the carefully clever calculations of the babbling mind

I have not yet begun to babble!...

for those of you frightened by that exclamatory confession, oh well, please take deep breaths and do some mind stretching exercises... for those of you cheering, well, you are hugged... and for the few of you who may have been there before the internet, have you seen my childhood?...

in my 42 hour circadian rhythm (quite normal on my home planet, even if it is mostly in my mind these days, where the people rotate on each other and the planet takes a rest from it's spin cycle for several hours each day {actually, this generally occurs at night where I am from, but it is day time somewhere on most any spinning rock that is near a shiny object like a sun}, therein giving the population time to experience stillness {something quite rare in most quniverses} while encouraging the propagation of the species), life is much more sane

I'll leave it for Douglas Adams to continue when he gets back

and you've come here for an entry, I presume well now that we've gotten the prelude to the introduction out of the way, hello, I am the writer of this life in black and white that the oft hapless candoor attempts to play out it is not always easy as misunderstanding is rampant among a species still dependant on imaginary father figures and fossil fuel, but we forge ahead anyway in the hopes that some glimmer of enlightenment might slip out from between the lines to find a moment of epiphany (or at least a shred of decency) amidst the cluttered mindscape of the human collective

obviously there may be no entry today

unless, of course, you enjoy the babbling as much as I do and find the sense threaded through the seemingly abstract thoughts and lyrical refrains in which case, make the coffee stronger if you want to last a little longer as the sleep button was once again not pressed last night but if you used the time wisely, like for a friend or humanity then everything's alright, ahright, and don't turn out the light until you get home and lay down in your comfortable position with your sweetest disposition put on by your own volition and you can get a commission for the good that you have done if you only appreciate yourself and learn to have fun

with chocolate, of course

interjection of the moment: I had intended to do some more writing at home on the weekend and it isn't happening so far, so Rasputin's mom is visiting and somehow I am being polite and offline more especially since Raspy left her with me here in the living room while he's retired to his bedroom to lay down or play on his computer or something like that at least he left the TV on wonder if she's interested in the NFL draft life is an interesting experience sometimes here behind the candoor

living with people is too

still, the scribble files are overflowing and the head will explode if I don't get some of the words out so cohesion and irreverence, that has been low and high this week, shall both be subdued as I continue you've been warned or prepared or stimulated or something hopefully not driven away, aye?

ok, interjection over, back to the entry in progress...

pressed between the pages of my mind
are moments when someone was kind
and I never want to leave any one behind
because love can be hard to find
even though it's all around
it's so seldom shared
so I treasure every time I found
someone real who cared

it doesn't take a genius to know
how to love
all you need to do is let it show
like the wind it will blow
like a river it will flow
all you need to do is let it go

what Einstein, Newton, Galileo, Copernicus, Aristotle, and several others approached was but a mere fraction of the tip of the claw of the zuniversal knowledge that is already floating around any half-brained llama, but still not surfacing into the consciousness of any widely known being alive or dead, mainly because the taxes would be so high once the government found out that it's not economically feasible

(easy for Hawking to say)

you, one the other hand, dear reader, can bask in the glow of your own good fortune for I will explain it all to you right now

everything is beautiful, in it's own way all we are saying, is give peace a chance the rock is gonna fall on us, run or you'll be crushed all we need is love, love is all we need every breath you take, every move you make, I'll be watching you imagine all the people, sharing all the world and what the world needs now is love, sweet love

of course that is the readers digest harlequin abridged version of everything you need to know about everything, but we all have to begin somewhere and if you can just smile through your tears and sorrow, smile then maybe tomorrow you'll see the sun come shining through just for you and be sure to wear a strong sunscreen, especially during the pauses in planetary rotation, because all the smiling in the world won't save anyone from a wick case of sunburn or the dangers of skin cancer

I have no idea what the point of this entry is either...

politicians, of course, will tell you to just keep filling your cars at the pump before it all runs out and don't worry 'bout a thing because you will find out pretty momma what it's all about when all the gas runs out and what I've got to say to them is I wish for just one moment you could stand in my shoes and for just that one moment I could be you cuz if for just one moment you could stand here in my shoes then you would know what a drag it is to see you

yeah, positively, 4th street...

I actually lived there...

a six floor walk up...but that's besides the point...

point?...

of course that is why I choose not to accept the nomination of my party or any party this year and probably won't as long as this planet insists on believing that twenty four hours is enough time to call it a day something Milton might have said when he lost his paradise was brother could you spare a dime, but then, the coinage being different in those days he might have gotten stoned so he would not feel so all along (everybody now) naaaa, naa naa na na na na na na na na, hey Jude Judy Juuudy, Judy Judy Judy

you must know this song by now
even if you never heard it just this way
you only can perceive what you're senses will allow
heavy man, right on, let the music play

if you were born in nineteen sixty too
then you would know exactly what to do
if you survived the crash and got up off your cash
then strum along and sing a verse or few
it's old but you may create something new

all we are saying

give it up for patriots for peace
who will stand up and be counted
and risk their lives on our own soil
because the perils we've surmounted
as a nation bent on war
and world dominance are soon going
to come back to our door
and who'll be here to defend your shore?

while all the old men snore
the young men are sent off to war
can anyone keep score
anymore?

where will we get the energy
to give our children destiny
so they can send their children
off to fight for the great society

we just need look up to see
the answer to how to stay free
the universe is energy
and we just need some clarity

and if you haven't found yours yet
you can keep asking questions
but don't panic, even if the end is near
after all
the sun is only going to last for some billions of years

and for the benefit of Mr. Kite there will be a show tonight because there's no business like show business like no business I know and as everybody knows, the show must go on so welcome back my friends to the show that never ends, step inside, step inside, move along, move along and if we just remember to feed the birds (twopence a bag) then the world will be a better place (except for those birds who've caught the bird flu, of course) and we can all agree that the best thing to do would be to let's all fly a kite up to the highest heights and if you love to laugh then you'll be a happier me too

ground control to Major Tom come in Major Tom

we've got Bob on the line Bob neeeeds...

and in the end, the love we save is equal to the love we gave if we've balanced our karmic checkbook and made love in the sweet moonlight, if only in our dreams, and I shall leave you now with the inevitable question that every child born before the new millennium (for kids born after this particular new millenium, the question is moot, which is a whole other philosophical sociological psychological pondering for another time) comes to eventually if they have half the brain of a llama and one quarter the imagination...

if the internet crashes, do we all get our lives back?
