not to be confused with a bleary-eyed day lost in the dark despair found online in the depths of a depressive mind, but just a day that kind of passed without much notice cuz, well, if I remembered precisely why it wouldn't be lost, would it, huh?...

it was a work night and again I stayed late after work because they are short staffing the place to save money and there are a few close observation kids who need more attention than the scheduled staff can provide... and then... I did get to the gym (though I've been slacking this month so far and acknowledging that here is hopefully one of the kick starts that'll work) and had a medium workout... and then?...

for the record, this is today, which, by reckoning of the days on these entries, would be two days from now and this is yesterday, which is actually tomorrow if we are going by the ates at the top and what actually happened in the life in black and white, but it is just as much yesterday in the real-time line that is obscured by the phenomenon of online diaries... all three of these entries were uploaded today, but now that we've cleared that up we can return to addressing this date as today and pretend tomorrow and the next day have not happened yet, ok?...

so what else happened today (I think it would be Monday)... I dont recall going anywhere, so I probably fell asleep and wait, something is coming back to me... memory cell #1788 just woke up, I think... I continued browsing the web, that's what I did... and I wrote this entry which was the day before this one, which would have been the 4th of July, when I worked and it rained so there were some soggy booms but no festive celebrating... it was in this entry that I linked just about everybody I could find in my linkers lists and then some (and please let me know if I missed you because I do not want to miss you... yes, you especially)... so actually hours of browsing all weekend culminated in this entry which was written today, even though it was for four days ago now and actually two days ago at the time... did I say thank you yet?...

offline, besides work and the gym, Sally appeared to be dead for a short time, but he managed to come back to life with the help of some pills... the poor guy is in agony... muscle and nerve stuff in his shoulder, neck, back, and maybe leg too... his chiropractor is on vacation and he spent the night in the emergency room (and didn't go to work, which is why he appeared dead, cuz it rarely takes time off)... he was sitting in his chair kind of bent and definitely drugged, but the emergency room drugs are seldom strong as they try to be careful so he woke when I asked him if he was still alive... his grimace hurt... it's the kind of thing that gets worse when he lays down, so his minimal sleeping habits have been reduced to almost none... I say it's the caffeine and and aspertame addiction he suffers from, but hopefully he'll get fixed without stopping the Diet Pepsi cuz that will be a sure sign of deadness...

his mom moved in yesterday (which would be three days ago, now... the 4th, since I am not being as obscure about time as usual) and she was right on time to drive him to the ER where he spent the night until coming home and falling into near deadness in his chair... his mom is quiet and seldom comes out of Precious's room, where she is sleeping until Precious gets back from up north, where she is summering... summering sounds like she's having a great time, doesn't it?... she'll be back for school next month and if all goes according to plan Sally's mom will be in her own apartment by then... and that's what happened today (then)...

guess it was not so lost after all...
