subliminal advertising works

I'm not exactly sure what it is (or is going to be), but I like lists, so I signed up... like that girl in the weirdly worded bar scene high definition TV commercial, I wanit... I don't know what I want, but I wanit...

on the good news and bad news front, I just found out that the recent darlings of my musical imagination, Meg and Dia, are going to be in Florida, about three hours away, on March 30th... that's the good news... the bad news is not so much the three hour trip, but I have tickets to see Snow Patrol in Orlando that night... but the potential gooder good news is that they have a show in Texas on the 23rd and nothing scheduled (so far) until May, so they might spend a month in Florida (wishful thinking) cuz there are lots of venues that could play down here...

I wanit...

of course you always knew this, being that I am a genius and all... I have proof, of course, if ticket will let you see it... if not, you'll just have to take my word for it cuz they gave me the results for free as a come on cuz I aced their IQ test (every question right) and they figured I'd run right out and tell the whole world about it and give them free publicity and all but I'm not that vain, right?...

I mean, I'm not any kind of nano-man like Jake 2.0 or even a hero like the cheerleader (ooooo, she runs so good) or other people on Heroes and the best I could do in Eureka is be the court jester or maybe the town poet if they realize that Dr. Seuss beats Shakespeare any day (for us kids and kid wanna-be types, which is everybody who isn't a kid when they are honest, but honesty is such a lonely word, ya know, so rarely are they honest, which is sad, cuz that means rarely are they real and did I mention that The Pretender was playing in my dream last night?... along with Take It To The Limit and other songs... you shoulda been there), but I've got great test scores...

and speaking of the cheerleader (save the cheerleader and save the world), I always forget how much a really good runner turns me on until I seem a really good runner running really good... I used to be a really good runner and I turned me on every time I ran really good too, but it's not exactly the same as watching another really good runner running really good, ya know?...

I wanit...

and then there's stumble upon which is another neat new web toy I signed up for a long time ago and forget to use... I remembered it after visiting one of my oldest and dearest inspirations and brilliant creative minds (not to mention she's a real cute thing and I'd say I wanit but the one and only internet celebrity bobby burgess has wooed her heart and so, alas, all my fantasies have taken a cold shower cuz they are both brilliant creative people)...

I didn't start out this entry thinking I would keep repeating I wanit... really it didn't... it's been quite the manic week, actually, and one reason was stepping out (without a baby) on Wednesday night to see a performer who I hadn't seen in three, maybe four years or longer... could be six, wow, I've been back here in Orlando a long time... so much time only shared on the surface, so much time only shared in words, so much time maybe be lost to the lonely, so much time, it makes this life absurd... what happened to the love I gave... the love I save... the love that will save me... what happened to the love I made... the love I want to make... the love I want to take (how much can I take before I break?)...

yeah, you must remember this, a kiss is still a kiss... and you also might remember my mentioning the words in parentheses in the RealTime blog... something like this:

the words in the parentheses are brought to you by Mecca who, in tribute to her pending year overseas, will for a while at least be known as Meka and we all wonder, have we seen the last of her rusty tears?...

Meka Nism is a girl who loves to scream... in her spare time, she writes scary music and sings beautifully, between screams, of course... it's an eerie beauty and if you have one wish left in life, it should be to see Meka perform Jewel's You Were Meant For Me because no one can give a better psychotic performance of the song (as it was meant to be sung, after all, I mean, have you ever really listened to the words?... with just a little help it could be the theme song for Fatal Attraction: Jason Falls In Love if you see what I mean)...

anyway, that's where I was tonight (you see why they shouldn't let me out much on my own during the week now, don't you?... I am much less apt to fly off the deep end with an adorable seventeen year old chaperone or few... it's a proven fact, really... and they think I'm chaperoning them?... lucky they aren't interested in, oh, nevermind)...

definitely too much fun for a work night...

see ya tomorrow J

manic, you dig?...

don't panic though, all is better than ever in every way (except that I am still reaching for food when I want a physical rush cuz I don't want to play with illegal drugs and alcohol just makes me wanna fall and not in the fall in love way and I am still not exercising enough to burn the calories I am taking in by using food as the sensory pleasure it can be... and still way too much energy for anyone I've met around here to be comfortable around, but otherwise, all is better than ever in every way)...

and no chocolate or caffeine in a couple of days and still too much energy... so I bounce around the room and then come sit here and bounce around in words and rinse and repeat... where are the people who are really alive?... being alive (it's not just a song, ya know?)...

and I would like to take a moment to take exception with the five day work week... working a five day week is utterly ridiculous and a sheer waste of life... I firmly believe we are (humans in the western set-up) are complete idiots (well beyond mere idjits) for putting up with a five day work week, especially now that technology and population growth could easily cut most work weeks down to 4 days (and three or two in many professions)... but then, we humans also accept that there's no viable replacement for the gasoline combustion engine just like we accept that technology and medicine is moving ahead as fast as it can (yeah right, as fast as it can line the pockets of the rich with more money) to bring us less expensive, less planet-harming, less life-threatening, and more convenient stuff and lives...

I wanit?...

and on that note I shall leave you with some links to utube that I did not label (so click at your own risk, ya know?)... maybe lance and eskimo could tell us... or perhaps z0tl (formerly z0tl and born of the gods of diaryland) has a clue... but all I can say is you tube these utubes and be appauled or enlightened or bored or amused or any way you wish to be... start here (cuz it's as good a place to start as any) and then continue (cuz that is what life is about, after all) and then conclude your journey through whatever the heck you are journeying through with the random chance effect that we've come to know and love here in life in black and white behind the candoor...

wanit?...

I can not be sure if this was inspired by a dragon or a fly or a bee, but there is a strong possibility that it was worth a trip to comment again, perhaps or it is altogether possible that the two ensuing links have nothing to do with the following corruption of fruit that allowed yet another ridiculously familiar introduction pile up in some stranger's lair... you probably had to be there to understand the responsiveness of the comment in question, but I present to you the comment in question again in case you had any questions about it...

mad insane :)

love is an addiction (not an affliction)
and you convey the web of love in your words on the web so well that
love is a prediction (not a benediction)
so I would like to thank you for painting the endless fall into
the bottomless bit (that's just the start of it)
the words can play and cut and bleed and rain and torment as they feed
love is a commitment (not just a commitment)
the losing of one mind into the dream of another (or just words we read)
you know when it is true when everything you do
revolves around the one who leads you to
say I'd happily go mad insane with you.

and in conclusion (for the many thousandth time), I grant you your fondest unknown wish, a potential journey through fields of amazing strawberry forevers where nowhere men and their sometimes women play hopscotch with their fingers all over each others epidermis for your imaginary pleasures and edifications... or, in all innocence, beauty shines with a smile so playful, the eyes behold wonder...

ready now, in chronologically certified order (except for her smile that curiously never seems to fail to inspire mine), there's one cingular sensation (are you in the network?) and double or nothing for two a name I call myself when drinking three cups of tea and bread on the golf course where four is shouted with great regularity in order to reach the five golden rings in the middle of the night the other four satins sing about stillness as number six coils and foils through seventeen episodes trying to get past number two to learn the true identity of number one but perhaps he should have recruited double o seven to help with the suave factor, if only to prove that eight is not always enough, especially when imagining the number nine dream in which the passion of innocence if burst open as only a flower can bloom on an island with ten little indian boys all striving for the attentions of double one indian girls never realizing the external almost always costs more than the internal and freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, so give it your best shot and write home to anyone who might want to hear from you...
