sheesh, is DLand slow as molasses through a strainer tonight or what?... I've been trying to catch up on the past ten days since I finally got power back after Hurricane Charley and the second lightning strike a few days after the storm passed that kept power off a few days longer (wouldn't you know... a co-worker and I were joking about being the very last to get power turned back on and I very well might have been because the radio reports were saying everyone had their power back earlier tonight when we still did not have ours on... love that irony)...

anyway, I've lost four entries along the way as the server timed out... that is major suckage I really did not need as I try to get back in the swing of daily updates and finding silver linings and positivity... I really think I've had enough obstacles for one week without having the DLand server shutting me out of my paid for diary...

there, that's better... nothing like a little venting to clear the sinuses... so where were we?...

well, during the past ten days (and twelve entries) I've done my best to catch up on the past ten days (duh) since Hurricane Charley danced across our lives here in Florida... with just one brief burst of power in the midst of the ten days and I did offer up a beginning for this particular multi-entry session... and then there was Charley... history might tell us that it was the first category five storm to move inland across central Florida, though they are calling it a category four for the moment... Andrew was upgraded from four to five ten years after it came and went based on the damage it did... and the irony of the date is not lost on the numerologists and superstitious among us...

from the beginning and then through Charley and the ten entries that follow (including this one), attempt to at once catch up and vent the tension from the challenges (and grumble and whine as I pleased cuz as long as I can openly do it here for anyone to see, I can remain real and true and innocent and unfettered within me)...

it's been a wild and wooly ten days and much writing has not been written yet and much scribbling has not been read and transcribed yet (as profound memory dates passed in the past few weeks)... I am smiling now because even though there was much whining and complaining (aspects of my rambling here that I do not respect and yet, accept as part of me cuz I am the last one to propose that I am anywhere near perfect... it's taken much time, effort, and sacrifice for me to learn human weaknesses and I dang well seem bound and determined to practice them randomly whenever the opportunity might arise... and all I can say is... may I find the will and skill to remember myself and forget the human weakness when the time is most right...

and sleep calls now, so until next time when hopefully I will find more inspirations, positivities, and wonder to share with you than I have in recent weeks... for it's still in here, somewhere...
