ok, did you ever open a page and find the computer downloading something forever and wonder whatever it could be and see a dancing turd while you are waiting to find out what is downloading (and you let it keep downloading because you trust the person who put up the page) and all of a sudden you realize that the forever download might be an audio file and you check the volume and it's turned off and you turn it up and find the last measures of a song playing and laugh?...

well didja?...

I did...

and I thought I was dichotomous... I suppose it is not probably for anyone to be intelligent, sensible, and aware of their surroundings (local and universal) without being torn between the hope for human kind and the atrocities, big and small, we see and hear about every day... there is so much to know, to learn, to understand... and so much that makes no sense at all...

unfortunately, I am on this weak laptop (32MB RAM, but good baby, that's right, good baby) for most of my browsing time and that's why I do not visit some of my favoritest sites (and the prime example is squirrelx who has great links and entries and quotes and fun and more)...

did I mention I love her mind?

around the casa de candoor, much rest and recouperation happened... sleep was good... the bugs that invaded my nose have, it appears, been contained there... you might recall my mentioning this last week and it's been one of the distractions I have not mentioned much because my way of dealing with being sick is to ignore it as much as possible because I believe the less energy I give the bugs, the less power they will have over me (it usually works when I don't want to be sick due to stupid self-pity or other psychological disturbances... maybe you understand what I mean)... after last week's nasal eruptions, the bug tried to spread to other areas but the immune system squashed all the attempts immediately and I'm left with a wimpy sniffling as the bugs are making their last stand in my nose...

not even the temperature dropping below 40 degrees at night (which is serious winter down here... yeah, I know) was able to help the poor bugs, who apparently met their match in my nose... hopefully the optimistic self-doctoring isn't fooling me and I'll stop sniffling in a day or few... it would be wise to return to the gym soon for many reasons... ah, my dear sleeping motivational muses... one of these days, huh?...

so not much daily life to mention (still lonely, but being rested always feels wonderful so nothing's gonna stop my happy mood tonight... not even the tragedy on the other side of the planet...

I do wish speedy healing for all those who were hit or effected by the tsunami and earthquake... and for the families... and I am counting my blessings living where I live and being healthy (relatively) and happy tonight... may we all find tomorrow a better day...
