I didn't spend any money all week... well, that is, I didn't go shopping all week... last Thrusday I treated two co-workers to dinner... they were suspended for not being able to make it into work during one of the hurricanes... is that not stupid?... and they did make it in for the first hurricane, without a thank you, mind you... anyway, I spent money over the weekend on food... and then, hmmmm, maybe I did spend more money than I thought... I spent about a hundred bucks on Monday for food and stuff for a party at work (and I laid out fourty dollars for the gift from those two co-workers), but I did have leftover chinese food all week so that's what I meant I guess... I didn't spend any more money all week... except for the $280 I loaned to one of the coworkers to help cover her monthly bills... I am trying to cut back on spending, what with having $2000 in bills last month...

we do have movie and dinner plans tonight though... dang...

the apartment office called us and officially told us that our apartment is condemned and we have to move out, but they offered us a decent deal... if we sign a paper (probably a waiver of responsibility in case the roof caves in on our heads) and agree to stay here until January (when they will have an apartment open), we get $250 off rent each month and they pay moving expenses... we have to go in and iron out details (and read the fine print), but if they live up to the offer, it sounds fair...

actually, it's Raspy who gets the $250 off, since he pays the rent... I pay the utilities... we don't calculate finances down to the penny (or at all, actually), but it balances out about right... especially since they never turn off lights (or that large standing fan in his room) and the electric bill has been averaging over $200 a month ($300+ last month) and I pay for the DSL and phone (two cells, one for Precious, and a house line and voicemail {that I really ought to check once in a while} and whatever else the phone company adds on) and cable, which is at least another $200 a month...

yeah, I'm into reducing my budget these days...

ok, so I thought about money enough for a while... I tire of the real world very quickly because it's so limiting and dull and nobody shares the depths or intimacies these days, so it's also shallow and lonely... so I think I'll watch the second Harry Potter movie again, since it happens to be on the TV in front of me just now, and lose myself in fantasy while I wander around aimlessly clicking banners and links and see what comes to mind...

ok, so maybe it's me, but she reminds me of Sara Gilbert and Mindy Cohn (along with a touch of Amy Irving and others)...

that was just an initial impulse...

now, ready or now, after carefully reviewing the radiation emitted by the cathode ray tube that is a relatively constant part of this living room here in casa de candoor, I have come to the following conclusions (momentary and impulsive as they may be)... I think this whole punk'd thing might have gotten out of hand... and mostly I watch the sci-fi channel... I mean, I could be reading about how a love life involves the potential perils of washing feet...

and because I dream of creating a joint blog and have insane impulses and ridiculous fantasies (that I sometimes expose right here for your viewing pleasure or disgust, depending on your taste and sense of humor), I left the following comment in his care:

before I read your recent entry, I decided to worship you a little because your site amused me (and it has little to do with the fact that it's sunday morning and I've been up all night and yesterday night too) and I felt enormous lust for the girl in the first picture on your mustache theory page (407-325-1482, oh, how did that get there?) and I respect lust even in the morning, but it was something deeper in her eyes that gave me the fantasy that she was a soulmate and offered this distraction as I decided I would write you a comment in the hope that you'd adopt me or at least nearby and let me bask in your wonderful internet presence and genius, if you don't mind, and then I read your recent entry and got all excited about being your best friend and basking in your generosity so I could sit back and ramble on for the rest of my life without having to go to work every day, but then I decided I like you even if you don't win the lottery... hello, I must be going, but I'd like to return... hopefully I will.
