well gee willy wittikers or some such pc euphemism expressing mild but persistent frustration, guess where I am now... yes, Sally's computer again and yes, fixing something that either attacked the computer through the DSL line or something Sally "caught" while visiting some website... based on some of the messes this computer gets into, I don't even want to know where it goes on the web... anyway, after messing with it for a couple of hours, it's fixed... I'm running Norton AV just for the burps and giggles... now can I have my time back?...

usually when I ask rather rhetorical facetious questions like that I am smiling because I know that if I did not want to do something I would not do it... kind of like the smile I've been finding somewhere inside of me when i read the mail these days... what can I say, I am irresistible, or something like that...

so what else is new?... well, I am also copying some music CDs on the new old computer and downloading mail on the new old laptop (I still haven't named them and still haven't unclogged the old old laptop) and wondering if I should be hoping for more mail from Toronto (what kind of fool am I?) and playing with the cat with my foot and while all that is going on, I am currently on the phone with Western Union trying to send some money to (now what was her journal name again?... well, we'll call her my daughter until I remember her name since I adopted her and she calls me daddy, ok) my daughter for her wedding that's at the end of the month... she gave me a way to do it that the Western Union telephone CSRs do not seem to know about... this is the second day I am trying to do this instead of doing other things that need doing, but this is important to and one thing at a time (like this computer fix)... ah, the CRS insisted they do not do what I am asking them to do... bye and have a nice day, I say... she was not as polite...

so I am heading to the Western Union website to see if there is info about the service, called swiftpay, there... but before I go, this just in from one of the storage cells in my memory: her journal name is Minnie... now if you find your way to the past few years you'll know who I am talking about... aren't we glad that's cleared up?...
