holy schmegoly... just moments ago I was sitting here wondering if my car would explode if I tried to start it or opened the trunk because it is smelling of gasoline or some similar petroleum product and Precious turns on the news (they just walked in from the local high school football game) and the first report is about bombs planted in two different vehicles in south Florida... huh?...

and the next big story is the Disney workers on strike... amazing, the mouse has one of the only unions in this state... that is one thing that sucks about this state, no unions and employers have all the power so no real job security and not the greatest benefits and so on...

a man is arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of an alligator when he stabbed the gator in the head, claiming he felt his life threatened when the gator came up on him while he was fishing... the news showed video of the gator, nicknamed Elvis by the community who claimed, "Elvis never hurt nobody", blinking sadly with a big bowie knife sticking out of it's head... the reporter captioned the video with, "Elvis is dying...

according the the next blip, federal and state funds paid for hurricane repairs, but power companies have still be allowed to raise their rates a few dollars a month... once again big business benefits the most from human tragedy...

and there's Tara Reid standing in front of cameras with her breast exposed, apparently oblivious to the fact that her dress strap slipped off her shoulder and exposed her breast... talk about a Barbie doll brain... can she spell, "duh?...

and that's the news for the moment, or at least the few blips that caught my attention as I sat here avoiding the distraction, not well, obviously...
