ummmm, well, instead of rearranging the last week and putting the entry for today after the entries for the past week, I'll just ramble on a bit more about today... after all, I seldom have much of a life to ramble on ablout and that's not stopped me before, so why not ramble on about the same stuff that is not much twice...

the VH1 100 Greatest Shocking Moments in Rock was typical, interesting but superficial like most commercial bio-type productions... it was followed by a Behind The Music about Ozzy Osborne, definitely someone who'd be a friend had we met along the way... one of the deeper facets... six months in a room, huh... and there but for a wife like his might go I, or something like that...

they keep advertising the return of original episodes of Behind The Music and who else, Britney Spears is the playful smile flashing to entice us to watch... she does have a great smile, but what kind of life experience does the poor girl have as a Disney Barbie for the new millenium... ah, but her butt, right?... what a world where such superficial fantasies earn billions and meaningful art is boxed or outlawed, forget actual serious social commentary (give me Sinead O'Conner over the Barbie buttocks anyday)...

meanwhile, the Sci-Fi channel has Shannon apparently live at Citywalk... that's just about a half hour away, so who wants to go?... yeah, ok, I'm knowing nobody around here who'd hop up and out on a moments notice like this, so being the unmotivated sloth I am, I'll just sit here watching TV... it's probably at the Hollywood Citywalk anyway... Criss Angel.... looks like an illusionist and the setting looks like Universal Studios (but it's day time so it's taped)... good act, I guess the drama and ego go along with it, and P.T. Barnum is right again...

Rasputin is pissed at the cats again and talking about getting rid of them again... apparently one of them peed on his dresser... again... all the more reason to keep the place clean and not let the kitties in my room... Helen says cats do that when they are not on a schedule or have a dirty environment... maybe they don't want to use the litter box in the bathroom next to their food and the toilet... I'd play with them more if they didn't stink...

and Alien - The Director's Cut is coming to theaters... so many movies, so many interests, so many moments... the thing that moved me most this week, besides the wedding, was the wandering around, being on the road again... I loved being on the road, especially when I knew people... as I was driving around Tennessee and Georgia and Florida (and a bit of Alabama) I was wishing I knew people (thinking about that as I drove around the northern suburbs of Atlanta wondering where would be a good place to eat) to visit (or visit me)... don't worry, I didn't get all depressed and teary eyed and drive off a cliff or anything exciting like that... this diary will be a whole lot more fun when I fall in love again and have someone to share life... until then, feel free to throw me a line...
