just returning from the gym, still dripping, I sit here to rehydrate and catch some breath (I won't claim it as mine until I can catch it)... and while Rasputin's mom struggles with a corksscrew attempting to open a bottle of wine (looks like a half gallon or magnum, at least), and Raspy, who just woke up seconds ago, chows on some fast food she just brought home from him, and a CD burns in the background (currently putting together a four CD compilation of TV theme songs, though I am missing three CDs from the set, which would mean the four are about half of what could be, cuz the library doesn't have Volume's 1,3, or 5), I sit back to jot some notes for history, posterity, and us...

so I am a wet puppy at the moment, if that does anything for anyone... and still feeling the fatigue from a few days of fasting (that ended yesterday after a reasonably good check-up at the doc, but I think I covered those details earlier in yesterday's entry)... obviously my brain is trying to catch breath too... ah, the miracle of oxygen...

at least I am not infecting anyone... and at least I know where there's a cure not too far away... speaking of the wonderful healer squirrel (you must know her, she's been around DLand for years and is about as unique as anyone, more than most, and well worth as much time as I can spent reading cuz I don't think there's any way to actually read all of her words and follow her links and still do other things in life, and then she does not get visited nearly often enough by me because my dial-up connection bogs down with her amazing entries, but I count on her for wonderful stories (what a life) and the best quotes and links and wish I had time and a fast enough computer and connection to cull all the quotes and links she's stuffed into her wonderfully rambly entries (and then the time to explore them all, ah... that would be part of what heaven is about for me... exploring, visiting, learning, laughing, feeling all that's out there)... and did everyone congratulate her on her marriage?... well, excuse me because I am currently having one hell of a brain fart... I don't remember exactly when she and her David got married... I know he changed from being her eventual-husband to her husband somewhere along the way... and I think I, for one, forgot to say anything in a timely manner, so shame on me... to make up for my forgetting, I am asking all of you to go congratulate her as soon as possible... the easiest way is to sign her guestbook and wish her and her hubby (that's Xtine and David) a zillion eternities of happiness together... at least...

sure it's belated, but it's still love...

and I'll beg, she deserves it...

I always feel better when I publically profess my love and respect and admiration for someone, so I feel better now... hope you do too...

before you think I am all good and roses, just remember that I ask the same question that this stupid evil bastard asks (so I mark him for further study, since I have not read much of him before, if any (after all, my brain is slipping gears and probably will until I eat something)... just look around the web reason or sanity or logic and you'd be afraid of what you find too... so I will remain mostly in my ramblings and creative playgrounds and leave the political (and religious) debates for others with more proported working brain cells... I'd much rather explore Einstein's Theory of Relativity (In Words of Four Letters or Less)...

I am drifting now, so it would be time to pause and consume some sustinence... the rest period is over... the wetness is sort of still here, which may gross some of you out, but feels great as the air-conditioner cooled down the body a lot faster cuz it was still in wet clothes... hey, I'd bathe before you came over, unless you surprise me, in which case I'll ask you to wait while I shower... you can play with the TV or DVDs or music or computers or stuff in the fridge, but just be careful with the laptop as it's ancient and fragile and has not been backed up lately...

we're off to the shower now, and then food...
