this is just to let you know that I did not die this week, which, I am pretty sure, is a good thing... this week has also been the least productive writing week ever, at least in recent memory, though that thought calls into question the meaning of the word productive and has me wondering if all the babbling I do is productive and if it is, just what does it produce, but that's besides the point...

the point is there's been the usual little time for me this week and even more, little interest in anything other than vegetating, or perhaps what I mean to say is healthy escaping into games that leave little proof of my existence other than a few stats on High Scores lists...

the makers of DXBall, Spades, and Hearts (or rather the simulated players) were whooped good this week... I can feel proud, in a kid-ish kinda way, so I do... easily amused, I still am...

meanwhile, I've missed you almost as much as I've missed me, so this note is just to let us know that I have not abandoned us and do not see this brief pause in my babbling to be any sort of permanent thing...

it's kind of like passing gas, it doesn't go on forever, but it must be done from time to time if we're to stay healthy... those who do not know this usually run for elected office and pass the gass through other orifices, but that's another story...

I decided to wander around a bit for the past hour or so and leave a few notes, which is why I am leaving this entry, so you know that I am actually here and it's not some notebot leaving random notes impersonally just for you...

I will do my usual mind dump soon, probably starting tomorrow, though sleep would be wiser... luckily I've been able to write in my sleep more and more as the years trickle by in this life...
