shhhh, if you noticed the date changed, pay not atention to the man behind the curtain and all that wizardy stuff... nobody will know if you don';t tell them... I'll just let the entry continue now...

and I present to you, dear regular readers, for your reading pleasure and browsing lusts (mustn't forget the obligatory pandering to the masses, after all... see if you can catch those bits as they pop up), the preceding entries... yes, the preceding entries take a small bite out of the catching up this life in black and white behind the candoor has in store (hopefully all before the new year)... yes, over the last few hours (or days, depending on your measure of time, your perspective on the time-space continuum, and your personal planetary alignment), 14 entries have been added to this life in black and white...

a few of you noticed almost immediately (and for that you are forever blessed) and the rest of you have plenty of time to notice now because it could be hours before another entry is uploaded and the mad catch-up session continues... and as I seem prone to do when I present the list of catch-up entry links in an entry like this, I have discovered other worthy linkages (old and new, stranger and friend) that you (or I) are bound to check out when time permits... so find some fluids and snacks of choice (or at least reach into your seat cushions and gather up all your loose popcorn) so you can sit back and enjoy your reading without starving... ready, set, go...

and now, the current entry (in other words, 14)... we begin in the middle of tonight's web wandering and once again, based on my usual irrational impulses and reading a few words, I like xmichra (even if the name sounds like a cross between a deadly disease and an old Japanese monster, but then, that could be just my mind seeing things)... now don't go getting your panties in a twist (or taking them off) cuz I didn't fool around and fell in love again (there's still Dia, after all), and it's not cuz the monster (love me love me) is an old fart, but it's cuz I'm trying to be respectful cuz I found the x-girl in all her pinkness in the comments of the one and only Serenity, whom I love dearly and would never offend by insulting any of her commenters, not even in jest...

speaking of old farts, however, I am grossly impressed with old bitter balls (hey, I didn't name him) who reminds me of the crotchety old grandfather Benny Hill used to have for a while, but this too is a ridiculously impulsive instant assessment based primarily on my semi-odd mood that may or may not skew my perspective...

and would you believe that I haven't listened to David Letterman talk in years? (just an aside as he just popped on the tube)... many years, in fact... not that it's a judgment of his talent for irreverence {and we know how I love irreverence and he is still such a Johnny-wanna-be, which is, after all, a lofty and noble goal that he actually gets right now and then}, but it's just been a long long time... does he still have hair?)...

and while I was using my stealth to steal creative juices from Serenity's commenters, I came across karmalennon and how could I possible refuse to love the instant karma I felt at the sight of the name... I have been influenced to dedicate more than a few entries over the years to the Beatle in the name, after all... and in my usual skim-a-long way I scrolled along and stopped so short I bumped into myself when I read, just one entry down (at the time) that said, wait, I'll even quote: "The Princess Bride is quite possibly the greatest movie ever made."

of course I fell in love again, but then, we know how easy I am... and why these three people (and others) have not found me in Serenity's comments and come 'round to be the adoring groupies I so dearly deserve is just one more astronomical mystery like black holes and quasars or what held up Chris Farley's pants... but all is forgiven and all are welcome and all's well that ends well which may be why my audience dwindles because it never ends around here and that may be a sign of un-wellness or something related to indigestion...

and speaking of gastrointestinal disorders, if Kirstie Alley can do it, why now the rest of us?... no, I do not mean go on the Oprah show in a bikini because obviously not all of us can sleep with Oprah or do whatever it is that one must do to get an audience with her majesty the queen momma of television and middle-age to senior citizen pop culture, I mean drop enough weight to look reasonable sweet in a bikini... Kirstie was always one of my favorite Hollywood psychos, actually, but I try to avoid people with serious eating disorders as I'm prone to catch them myself... and speaking of oral fixations, don't you ever just get the feeling like you just have to hump something?...

yes, well, you try to make sense out of the web and pop culture and random trivia 365 days a year (366 on leap years) and see what happens to your brain...

meanwhile, I am not through embarrassing people with my unabashed brand of irreverent humors, irascible asides, and perverse associations (and rarely if ever do I consciously plan any of this free associative babbling, but if you wish to believe I do because it heightens my aura and enhances my genius factor, feel free... anyway, while I was uploading entries here in mini-massive catch-up session part six hundred and twenty nine, I was compelled to click on a few banners and found an old, a new, and yet another diary I just had to save for future reference...

and now:

it is not about taking the power, it is about using the power... or, in a galaxy far far away, it is not about controlling the force, it is about using the force... like rad dude, ride the wave, any idiot can wipe out (the preceding was brought to you be analogies R us, borrowing a bit from Metaphoric Tendencies, which is the secret subtitle of my personal blorg that I've never shown anyone cuz it's not online yet... cuz the world loves a mystery... cuz the fear of the unknown is even greater than the will to succeed... so mass suicide is popular even if it's disguised as a party keg... and tomorrow, I shall wear a black cloak and not simply take souls, but I shall use souls... and remember, posterity makes wasteful fools who create dead ends walk the plank... even if we only understand 3%, we still stay dry if we laugh... remember Uncle Albert!

we are here, we are there, we are everywhere, even when they think they've closed the door and locked us out, we are there (and not just cuz we use the power of italics dontcha know)...

at least one of the delicious trifecta Z, Q, and S inspired the two bits tossed in above and now preserved here for that posterity fellow I keep hearing about... of course I keep hoping that posterity is actually a girl who also just happens to be the ultimate answer to my heart's dreams, but that's probably best left for another entry as such rambles and rhymes can go on for days and nights...

so in conclusion, or thereabouts, I just heard David Letterman mention something about a Federal (or was that Fickle) Bureau of Miscellaneous Information and so I just had to look it up on the web (after all, the Earth is moving at the rate of 666,000 miles per hour around the sun, except on religion sites where they use 665,000 mph as their science) and this is what I found... and while there I stumbled into the world of musical information created by the aquarium drunk (and I'm not even wet) and I have yet another reason to stop giving away money and start saving for that new computer I've been talking about getting for many years now...

yeah, I have been giving away money again lately, so the computer fund is gone again... I do know how to say know, but that doesn't mean I say it much... I have also been going to lots of concerts and shows (like 25 in the past three months... there's a list in my blogspot and myspace blogs and somewhere in a past entry here)... I get less sleep and have much more fun now that I work days... so I've not been uploading, but now that I spent a bit of time back here at Dland, I realize how much I miss Dandy's world while I am away... I want a nurse like her when I grow up... and a Smashing attitude too... and luscious Hissy and my adorable moo and thank you Sandyz and raven and bucket and torchstar and rose and rae and boann7 and leesmry and breatheasigh and namastesakhi and itssoeasy and ham and dears nebby and ariza and tim and nicim and anyone else who dropped me a note while I was gone and so many others I'm gonna try to find time to visit instead of spending time linking just now... some of you have been linked in the previous entries just uploaded... and I'll be thanking you commenters in a future entry too... cuz I love you all... so many reasons to smile online, yet so many offline too... miss you, love life, love you, love life...
