did I miss anybody? (I'll trust you to let me know if I did)... I sent some Valentine's Day love to everybody who's put me on their favorites list cuz that is one way we show our love around here... that's why I let you know where I've been every week with an entry full of links (cuz there's no way I could fit all of you in my profile)... I wish you all love and happiness and lots of hugs and cuddlings and as much passion as you can stand today, but especially if I'm your favorite (selfishness fends off depression... who's laughing?)...

if you are alone, feeling unloved today, don't let it get you... you've got the power to be selfish, to do something for yourself... that's selfish, not mean or dumb... buy yourself something you really want... sleep in... call an old friend... or a new one... rent a video or DVD you want to see... order dinner for pick up or delivery... do something you don't usually do, but love to do...

or have a really good cry if that really helps...

today would be a great day to buy a new computer if you've been thinking about that... spending hours shopping, bringing it home, unpacking, plugging it all in, and figuring out how to get it working will keep you busy... and whether you need their help or not, call tech support... say, Happy Valentine's Day to whomever answers (use their name) and ask them to walk you through setting up your new computer and internet (see, that's a second tech support) and any programs you can afford (more techies to talk to)... then go search instant message programs and see who's out there... send valentine's at random...

Until I find a loving partner to share this life, I've got all this love stuff inside of me and nowhere to send it. I care so much, it hurts to ignore or deny it, or keep it all in. It's quite overwhelming, really, so if you don't mind here's some love for you today. May you find a smile. May you feel someone cares. May you know I do. Maybe we could even be friends J

hey, it's an idea...

got money?... buy that new car you were looking at... that's right, Valentine's Day is a great day to make any big purchase you intend to make during the year... you can get a fantastic deal on a brand new last year's model... go house shopping... buy a new appliance... something... go to the bank, open a weekly deposit account (like for Christmas) and have it set to be withdrawn the second week of February...

if you like, tell the dealer or store person that it's a Valentine's Day gift (no lie, it is a Valentine's Day gift for yourself)...

or do something you love to do that you do all the time... be decadent... be healthy.... be lazy... exercise... take an hour-long bubble bath... use up all the hot water... if you enjoy any games, find an online site and play... introduce yourself or be anonymous... you might find local groups online if you searched for your home town and "groups" or "games" or "chat"...

might even find someone ready, willing, and able to come out and meet you... wave hi to a stranger... or make a new friend...

just be open to the possibilities...

if being alone today feels like the end of the world, you do not have to be alone...

if you don't mind being alone today, then do what you enjoy...

it is your day, your time, your life, your choice...

you could try to read a long time writer's entire diary, or these...

pick someone who has you on their favorites list... or pick a letter... or see who's updating right now... or search diaries for someone who shares your interests...
