if it's Tuesday, this must be Friday

ok, I finally decided to do one of these... yes, it is a Friday Five... I know, it is not Friday... it is Tuesday, I think... but I wandered over to candora's guestbook and clicked on a link left by one of the beautiful people who left words there and found, sadly, that the diary is over (absolutely great final entry though) and so I clicked links from ther and found the spark which is something I've heard much about but never really understood (I think I thought that maybe it was some sort of an online zine like The Onion or something) and I guess it is a sort of collabortative diary (though I still have little clue as to who, what, where, how, or what it is) and anyway, I checked out MEMEs (whatever they may be... I am guessing that they are collaborative efforts or something like that... such ignorance have I, huh?) and that lead me to a defunct MEME (what's with me finding things that are over today... some sort of meaning in that?) and I saw others and will check them out eventually but when I went to the Friday Five the questions finally intrigued me enough to say, "ok, I'll answer these"... does that mean I have to religiously do Friday Fives now?... well, this entry is typical of me so if I do decide to do Friday Fives they might not be your typical five questions and five answers... would that be breaking some rule?... are we gonna have fun?... is this my way of starting to interact with this diary?...

obviously I have questions and you have answers and if you choose to leave your answers in my notes (since I don't have comments), that would be great... or maybe I should create a guestbook for this diary... yeah, another mostly ignored guestbook, just what I and the web world need... not today... today, whatever day it may be, we have our first Friday Five:

1. List five things you'd like to accomplish by the end of the year.

I wanted to answer this?... ok, well, ok... ummmmm...

1. This Friday Five

2. Maybe develop a little more ambition.

3. Return to being more decisive.

4. Find true love. (this matters most, there, decisive to the nth degree).

5. Take life more seriously.

Since ambivalence is my ruling house (and my moon is in Aquarius?), there isn't much impetus for these supposed goals, but hey, maybe next year... this is the sort of question better suited for an Aquarius moon, anyway... next?...

2. List five people you've lost contact with that you'd like to hear from again.

1. Amy (cuz once in love with Amy... it's a song, it's a way of life... just ask G)...

2. G (cuz closure is a good thing... and there are way too many loose ends with G... and then there are the kids... they deserve much better than they got and hopefully, someday, they will get it)...

3. Shari (and the 105th St. gang... because there are some of the best memories I've known)... Ray, Barb and the Ray's basement gang are somewhere in my email, reconnecting time ahead?... and Tom and Turk and Wendy and others, for childhood is a terrible thing to waste...

4. PJ (because she was my little girl, my kid sister, and an innocent fantasy for a while {in that order} and I miss her dearly)...

5. I won't choose a fifth for there are too many people who would not be listed... so you are the fifth, each and every one...

3. List five things you'd like to learn how to do.

1. (nothing is impossible): live forever, heal, fly, transcend and travel through time and space instantly, teleportation, telepathy, mind reading, telekinesis, altering the form of matter, convince others not to harm others, eat anything I want without gaining weight, know anything I want to know, grant wishes, continue...

2. (considering physical limitations): convince others not to harm others, heal, live a healthy happy life all the time, help minds open, play many musical instruments, become more decisive?... anywhere, anytime...

3. but I am taking these questions seriously... thinking smaller, I'd like to complete this entry...

4. produce movies, music, and other creative things...

5. love... it is perfect and I am not, so it is always something I want to learn how to do better...

4. List five things you'd do if you won the lottery (no limit).

1. no limit, really?... pay every bill for everyone (you said no limit, so yes, everyone in the whole world and wherever else there might be bills)... more realistically, pay all the bills of all the friends I've ever known...

2. buy a big house where we all could live (or at least visit regularly or whenever we're in town... yes, this is a reference to an old Elton John song... it could be yours if you remember)...

3. provided unlimited resources (no limit, right?) for every effort at curing disease, ending conflict, feeding people, and creating as peaceful and healthy and aware a world as possible... and space travel, unlimited resources for developing space travel technologies... and other things too...

4. hire editors and a variety of personal assistants for a variety of specialties and put big ads in all entertainment industry trade papers for collaborators on a variety of projects and start producing movies, music, books...

5. buy a few islands and property all over the world, build homes there, buy transportation vehicles to get there and travel around the world looking for the one... then share it all...

5. List five things you do that help you relax.

1. write, maybe you've noticed...

2. sleep, it is very relaxing...

3. sex, alone or with a lover, it is like running a marathon up a mountain and then leaping off a cliff, the landing is most relaxing...

4. singing, almost as good as sex... ok, occasionally better...

5. eat... or read... or get into a movie... or show... or... call it another tie...

and there is my first ever Friday Five... ta da... I hope it was informative and entertaining... that is it's purpose, I think... to let you get to know me, the writer of the words, and inspire me to share more of myself with you, the reader of the words... feel free, especially all you experienced Friday Fivers, to give advice, critique, or suggest whatever comes to mind... my irreverent way of dealing with most rules and structures intends no offence or disrespect to Friday Five creators or anyone associated with Friday Five... while there is more irreverence in my seriousness than in most people's irreverence, there is more seriousness in my irreverence than in most people's seriousness... seriously... one of the reasons it has not appeared in my ramblings before is my own aversion to structured writing and natural tendency to go the other way when I see a crowd following each other anywhere... however, my desire to share and interact is genuine, so I spontaneously decided to modify my independent lone wolfish stance on life and writing and here is the result... hey, I tried to keep it brief... well, not really... fun?...

actually, I didn't mind it at all...
