here we are again attempting a morning entry... Little Shop of Horrors is on TV and, well, if you must know I get all teary-eyed listening to Suddenly Seymour... yes I know, there's no excuse for it... and all kidding aside, I don't need one... but mock me with me just so the world goes on thinking I'm cool, ok?...

shhhh, don't tell them... suddenly Kermit the Frog comes to mind... maybe someone who's green is inspired by somewhere that's green... a rainbow connection... lover and dreamers and me... and corny old movies and sappy romantic musicals and silly irrverent comedies and do I wish my life was a non-stop celluloid movie show?...

ok, did it again (fell asleep sitting here this morning... must have been dreaming about a movie when I wrote the above, huh?)... the maintenance people woke me a few times... the storm-fixer company people came to take the dehuminifiers and fan/blowers today... and some cabinet-maker people came to measure the cabinets in this apartment because they are rebuilding the apartment next door from scratch (it was totalled)... and some other people came through to do something else, but I don't remember exactly what they wanted... one of these days maybe we'll get back to having privacy and a place that isn't getting strange people (often sweaty men leaving tracks on the carpet) parading through it... at least we haven't had to move (but the month long roar of machines and banging and strangers passing through daily and feeling of being displaced and not sleeping more than a few hours is taking it's toll and makes me wonder if the people who were relocated immediately did not actually get the better deal out of these storms)... anyway, there's more floor space now, sort of... the more to clutter and drop crumbs on, of course...

and now, again, there is no time for the thought process (or whatever process it takes) for an entry that does any more than whine or complain about not having time to think or feel or take the deep breath of creative inspiration that my muses crave... I did put in a requisition for additional hours because I really think that a day should have a minimum of 32 hours, but the request seems to be bogged down on some bureacrats desk, so I am doing my best to fit 32 hours of life into 24 hours... it doesn't work, but I've learned to fake it.. poorly, cuz I don't like faking anything...

I did find a moment to wave back at a few of you who left notes and I wish I had more time cuz you deserve much more appreciation than I've been giving lately (and old friends who haven't heard from me in weeks or longer, sheesh, huh... you know... and thanks for that too)... I haven't even downloaded email on the desktop (so those addresses are probably bouncing) and haven't had time to look at email on this laptop (this is where the DLand email goes, when the DLand mail server is working)... I hope to find some time for browsing and reading this weekend... maybe if I get some sleep (ah, we dream of sleep and don't find that strange at all... laughter is healing, ya know)...

it's hi-ho-ho-ho (trying to be cheerful, ya know) and off to to work I go now... I wish all the people feeling Ivan tonight a safe journey... may you be intact and dry in the morning...
